hajsafi has been in extremely good form since the restart, playing a central midfielder. He scored another screamer today and gave a great assist from Corner. He was god awful for TM recently but hopefully can still be servicable moving forward.
It will be a 2 of him, Ebrahimi, and nourollahi in the central midfield zone for the upcoming TM matches, judging from ezatolahi practicing with Malavan and looking totally out of shape/motivation.
highlights of Tractor Sepahan Today... It was a hajsafi clinic, from the goal to assist, to long range shots, driving runs, and good distribution.

^Surprised his shot didnt end up in cheap seats @nosebleed section of the stadium..! thats what im used to seeing from ehsan .... even his pks..!
joking aside, that is a very encouraging development for TM's prospects in the upcoming vital WCQs ...!
imo, CQ over-relied too heavily on ehsan, massoud and failed to add sufficient young and upcoming cover for our MF..! now our backs are against the wall and we can ill afford to fully start the rejuvenation of our MF and still must somewhat rely back on aging and over-milaged players such as ehsan...even Ebrahimi for that matter in absence of solid young replacements ...!
still want to see us try out younger and upcoming CM/CAMs vs the minnows of out WCQ group... but vs Iraq and Bahrain we are much safer to rely more on experienced..!

For CAM I think the solution is obvious, we go with ghoddos or Gholizadeh in that role, dependent on their form, opposition, etc.
Nourollahi's emergence is good and gives a younger option, but due to ezatolahi's situation, we end up still being short in this position.
But currently Ebrahimi, Hajsafi, Nourollahi are by far and away the best CMs at our disposal. In terms of youth only the guy posted here a while back, Sanat Naft's Mojadami seemed like a potential option.

is that the kid Leicester City did a thread on a while back..!! his extremely rare, Heads up and well measured game approach really excited me of his potential future ..!
btw Mohebi also showed significant enough potential during his baptism by fire under Wiltits to be kept in the mix of up and coming CM/CAMs..!

Uzbekistan is a very good friendly, even more so than in recent times.
They have an increasing number of really young exciting players coming through.
Shomorodov of rostov who is in the top 5 scorers of the league. Gent just offered 6 million EU for him. Stuttgardt and Schalke also very interested.
19 yr old Urunov of 6th place UFA has been a revelation in creative midfield/wing role. Spartak are rumored to be close to deal for him.
18 year old Jaliludinov will move to Lokomotiv Moscow this summer. Another really exciting attacking midfielder.
It should be a solid test for TM.

We really need this team to click under Skočić. There is no doubt we have genuinely quality players. Milad Mohammadi, Mehdi Taremi, Sardar Azmoun, Ali Gholizadeh... All of these guys have true qualities. It's just finding the right balance and harmony. The coaching staff is good, the players all look in good form. I just want to see our best team fielded and us playing high level football because we are certainly capable of that.
