that's completely impossible. they won't even pass the second round here. both Chinese Taipei and the Philippines are supposed to be stronger. just to have a better idea about Iran's level, a month ago they lost 3-0 to Nepal in a tournament in India.

Qualifying is basically impossible for any 2nd round team.

China, Japan, North Korea and Australia are miles ahead of any other women's team in Asia.

technically we are much better than Phillipines, however usual we crumbled mentally and physically

Yes we are. maybe not "that weak" but still very weak

and important note, even better players prefer to play futsal and not football. Iran has a much better women's futsal team which is the current Asian champion. and yes I know only few countries in Asia take futsal serious but still.

btw Iran is leading Palestine 4-0 in middle of the first half ! surprising result because Chinese Taipei (which is a much better team than Iran and Philippines) beat this team only 3-0 !
