Is there a chance he plays for TM you think? For someone like him born and raised in Iran I feel like it makes the most sense for a talented footballer....don’t know if he likes/dislikes Iran though

well, last time ive talked to him (couple years ago). he said he consider himself more afghan and would not play for the iranian national team. so unless he changed his mind i dont think he will play for iran. i agree he is a talent who could help us. but if someone doesnt appreciate the chance to play for iran, then he doesnt deserve it.

they where afghan immigrants in iran for a very short period (10-13 years, so they could earn some money and go to europe). i dont blame them for not considering themselves as iranian. im born and raised in the Netherlands for 30 years and even i consider myself more iranian.

good move by shekari. He didnt play in the last couple preperation matches of rubin kazan, where he concluded he wont play a lot matches in the upcomming season. at the age of 21 its time for him to get minutes in a senior team.
i'd rather see him going to a lower european team like ezza went to amkar. but this move is better than staying at kazan.

Maybe he is awaiting medical and is unsure whether or not he would still be transferred to the new club. It could also be based on his professionalism and wants to ensure that his club is the first one to introduce him.
