طی روزهای اخیر صحبت های زیادی در خصوص رفتن علیرضا بیرانوند از پرسپولیس مطرح شده. در حالیکه در ابتدای فصل نقل و انتقالات بیرانوند با حضور در باشگاه برای همراهی پرسپولیس در لیگ نوزدهم اعلام آمادگی کرد، این روزها خبر پیشنهاد یک تیم ایتالیایی به شدت همه چیز را عوض کرده. در این خصوص حتی شنیده می شود گابریل کالدرون هم صحبت هایی با بیرانوند انجام داده. کالدرون در همین زمان کوتاه با برخی از بازیکنان تیمش از جمله بیرانوند، رابطه صمیمانه ای پیدا کرده و به او مشورت های زیادی داده. در این خصوص روزنامه خبرورزشی چاپ امروز از این نوشته که سرمربی آرژانتینی حتی گفت و گویی خصوصی با دروازه بان تیمش داشته و از او خواسته زودتر تصمیم نهایی خودش را در خصوص آینده بگیرد و تمرکزش را روی همان تصمیم بگذارد. البته که به نظر می رسد کالدرون می خواهد تکلیف خودش هم زودتر مشخص شود و بداند برای فصل بعدی چه کسی را می تواند به عنوان دروازه بان اول در درون دروازه تیمش قرار دهد.

I know that Iranian league is decades behind the top 5 euro leagues but c'mon..half of our team in WC 2018 never played a game outside of Iran/Asia..

thats not the full impact of playing in Europe. A lot of our players have higher potential ceilings than those players but they never actually reach that ceiling because of the lack of professionalism and stable quality of training and discipline when they stay in Iran. Playing in Europe helps our guys to unlock their potential and get as close to their ceiling as possible.
Those African players that you mention are all getting far closer to their ceilings than our guys, although they might have a lower maximum (other than some of the exceptions like Mane, Salah, Etc)
