The agent of Brighton attacker Alireza Jahanbakhsh insists he's happy on south coast.

AZ Alkmaar and PSV Eindhoven are eyeing the winger before the market shuts this month.

“Alireza is very happy with Brighton and wants to prove that he is good enough for the Premier League. It is quite normal for players to get used to English football for a year and sometimes two years and Alireza is very calm about it. He has a lot of confidence in the coming season," explains business manager Amir Hashemi to Voetbal International.

“Of course it is great that there is so much interest in Alireza. The fact that Dutch clubs wanted him made it extra special. The Netherlands is really his second home for Alireza, he is in love with the country. But first he wants to prove himself at Brighton."

I don’t get how he’s happy at Brighton, and yet he isn’t in the squad again.

Honestly don’t know what to say , it’s looking as if it will be best for ARJ to try and get a move out , if the rumours of a loan move to PSV are true then that could be good.
Fair play to him though if he wants to say and fight for his place.
We have to remember that football is a fickle game, if Brighton get smashed by West Ham today or there’s a couple of injuries then that opens up the opportunity for ARJ to get back into the squad at least.

        This is it.
Not even the bench for two games in a row. It's a big shame. I really enjoy watching the EPL but it looks like this is the end for his stint in the EPL. He was probably offered a loan move but rejected it. Now I think he knows he doesn't really have a choice.

Brighton sent a clear message to him as he has to find a new team. Hopefully JB and his agent will get the message. PSV/Feyenoord offers should be taken

Jahanbakhsh seems like the guy who sticks around unfortunately.

Never liked England, the people are to cocky. Our players dont fit in. We should aim for French legue or Spain. From the day Alireza signed for Brighton I was sure he would not play as himself.

I am surprised how him and Rezaei are so passive concerning their situation

what kind of a dumb mentality is this. Lets just see? And waste another season rotting out of 18 or bench at best? Why? He can go on loan to other clubs. there is interest. IF he forced a move or demanded to at least be loaned it would be a win win for all parties. He can play again, in a better environment where he is trusted, and brighton can get rid of a depreciating asset. If he comes back with confidence and form he can play for the team, or they can sell him and not lose any money on his relatively big transfer fee.

The situation now is just retarded. He never plays and they have a guy who cost close to 20 mil EU just losing worth day by day. Not sure what their end game is here or ARJs.

People on this forum criticize allahyar for having tattoos or sardar for staying with berdyev. ARJ is a top lad but man he plays and acts like a complete wimp. Ever since he came to england its like he forget even how to kick a ball or run properly. He might not be a world beater, but he is much better than the shit he has showed here. The fact he even came to this team was an extremely stupid decision which many of us said at the time and have been proven right. Now he wants to stay out of 18 to "prove something"

Grow some balls and ask for a move if they arent willing to give you any playing time.

Some people are saying that Saeid shouldnt be in squad until he cleans up his act, he is a player that we dont have any replacement for...ARJ also hasnt made any squads, was garbage last season (and didnt deal with a season ending injury like saeid) and most of all we have MANY replacement for him in TM. Imo Delfi can definitely take his place and if gholizadeh proves his fitness he is actually a better player than ARJ. Not to mention possibility of playing taremi and ghoddos wide and allahyar and azmoun up top.

Enough waiting around for this guy and his moron of an agent (who milad got rid of too, who could only get PAG to eupen for 6 months) to do something constructive.

is the AZ/PSV rumor legit? Any Dutch source?

Jahanbakhsh his Mr. Nice Guy attitude brought him far in The Netherlands, but in the Premier League such attitude is very harmful. He needs to take action and start demanding playing time or a transfer. Simple.

It’s always been like this with our footballers, once they make the big move they become chickens
I remember how people at Bayern would always say how quite and shy Ali Karimi and Ali Daei were, how respectful etc.
Hashemian was the same, would never open his mouth.
JB was a shy guy to begin with, also very emotional - PL is no place for such a player, even Germany is not

We have too much respect for others - Iran vs. Japan being a prime example.

So tell me, have you been following JB during training live to say that he didn't convince?

Salah is a different type of player, he became a ''nice guy'' when he actually made it.
