Seyyed jalal too - more so than the ones you named IMO. He was not a gifted athlete at all but his ability to read the game in front of him allowed him to be in the right place at the right time. I really miss having him I never was worried with him there. Montazeri as wellTeam Meli Iran

majid is younger than all the players mentioned and performing at a higher level than all of them were at the same age.
He has deficiencies when it comes to reading of the game and especially certain situations around the box, and as well he is not the quickest. But his physicality, passing range and ability, and stronger one on one skills mean he has the tools to become a really solid center back in european stage. With experience and good coaching, which I think karaman is decent, he should iron out some of his problems in the next year.

Majid is the youngest of them all.
I agree that majid has some weaknesses
-His reading of the game is not always the best
-Makes a little too many risky fouls inside the box
-Sits too deep on defense
However, we have to keep in mind that he is young and that he's the Only CB we've had in a while who is a starter for a good team.
His positives:
Good passer
Good physical strength
Defends his space well
Defends against long balls and crosses well
Very good tackler
I don't mind if PAG and Kaanani start over majid, but majid has the most potential for growth, and I'm sure he will be coached on his weaknesses.AKP Parti, Turkiye - Haj Bernie Sandersoglu
