not kaveh's best half, had one shot that he should have got on target.
Gholi was very impressive though, one great shot goalie made great save tipping over.
A lot of defensive work by both of them as well. Gholi especially looks so much more aggressive and physically capable compared to before.
Also great atmosphere, very full loud crowd for this derby vs liege. charleroi have been dominant and thoroughly deserve HT lead. A win will take them 3rd.
Nice job Ali and Kaveh, and the rest of RCSC. Huge win, which leap frogs them over Standard and Royal Antwerp and into 3rd place (behind Club Brugge and Gent).
watched the whole match. Was a great watch. Very physical intense match as expected from a big derby. First charleroi win in 5 years in this fixture.
Gholizadeh was fantastic. Commentator praised him tons as well. IMO, he was MOTM. his assist was a brilliant flick, the kind of spark we have missed in TM creative midfield zone for some time. Besides that he had an excellent strike GK tipped over the bar, and many other good passing sequences and crosses.
His defensive effort and physical play was immense. It represents a massive improvement from his saipa days, early days in belgium. He probably ran one of the highest distances on the pitch, was not afraid to get in physical battles, was able to take hits and still show his skills. CAme off to standing ovation at minute 80.
Kaveh put in an a huge amount of hard yards as well. He nearly scored with a brilliant freekick, missed one good chance in the box he normally scores. still solid 90 mins.
IMO, Gholizadeh's form and huge physical/defensive improvement make him the best candidate for our CAM position currently. Ghoddos not in good form yet, never put in a ton of defensive work.
Next up for Charleroi...Gent. 3 TM players on one European field. When is the last time that has every happened? Awesome!
Which Belgian you prefer?
Charleroi with three iranians, one of them may leave the club at the end of the season and another that didn't play this season
Gent, with only one iranian but starting for them and important for TM
Eupen with 2 iranians
Bruges, that could welcome kaveh next season
Antwerp that could land Beiro and Maybe naderi

How can anyone answer anything besides Charleroi? It’s thanks to Charleroi we have Belgian teams interested in our players... Even if all 3 players leave Charleroi to different Belgian teams I will still support them. (BTW Noorafkan may return to them in the summer)
