Milad was one of their best performers. Most attacks came from his side. His intelligence, speed, and timing of the overlap is really good and gent were abusing this throughout creating good openings from it. He nearly got a pk, fouled right on the edge of box from one of these speedy runs, and then had a shot on target that was blocked (seemed to be goalbound) from the resulting freekick that was layed off to him.

Defensively he was really solid with a lot of good pressure and won the ball back really well a few times to keep gent on the front foot.

Two of his 5-6 crosses were overhit. One time he got in behind and got in two minds between crossing and shooting. His composure was overall good in possession, think he completed almost all of his passes and was toying with the defenders faking crosses at times.

I think Gent is a really good fit for him. They play very expansive attacking football and he will get a lot of opportunities to showcase and improve the attacking side to his game.

Hope gent continue like this in second half and get a few goals. They will play rijeka in final EL qualifier this week (first leg).

Im most impressed by his level of fitness. In that regard he is on par with what you'd expect from any modern fullback. Still sprinting into the 90th minute.

Gent through on a 3-2 aggregate after a 1-1 away draw. Milad will get opportunities to shine at Europa level. That is great, really happy for him.

EL draw is tomorrow. It will be exciting to see where Milad and Majid will be playing. It will be great if they both shine in defending agains powerhouses such as ManU, Arsenal or Roma among others.
