Well done to Mehdi to keep his composure , was a long time between the penalty being given and him taking it due to VAR check. Good pen too.

They are not playing him the correct through balls and its making him angry! Bad team cohesion and communication!

He needs to move to a team where they can appreciate his movement in space and one where they can play the killer pass without holding onto the ball like they are playing chess. Mohsen Mosalaman played better balls than this ***edited*** at Rio Ave they call a midfield!

To be fair there was a couple of good balls to him in the first half across the goal, the first one he was too slow to make the run and so didn’t get to it in time and the second one maybe if he went with his head he would have reached it. However he is making some good runs from outside the box, it’s just inside the box that his reactions can be a little quicker.
Overall though he is playing well and I rate him.

Has finished 4-0. Taremi was through on goal and brought down by goalie , he had another good opportunity unmarked inside the box but leans back to far and hit the ball into the stands. Bet defenders hate playing against him because he is always playing on their shoulders looking for the break.
I think at the end he let Lopes take the pen for 4-0 because a few players came up to him and give him a hug.

Mehrdad I feel sorry for , starved of service and tried to make things happen for himself but no one to pass the ball to or he had to take on half their team. He nearly scored with a lovely free kick.
