his highlights, he is not fully match fit and that is ok. He will get better. You can still see his quality. Playing him vs 1st place team away from home in his first match shows they have confidence in him.

From the highlights it looks like he was solid.

We know he can be much better but he did a good job.

I watched the first half and you could definitely tell he hasn't played competitive football for quite some time. I wasn't too impressed with him but that might be because my expectations of him are higher knowing how good he can be.

Also a lot of times he played backwards instead of being positive and trying to get the ball moving forward, but then again that could be his team's philosophy and tactics so can't judge him based on that yet.

Hopefully we'll see an improvement with more match time.
