1) FIFA has threatened to ban Iran because of this issue
2) The issue is nowhere near resolved
3) Sahar Khodayari lost her life because of this today
4) Sahar Khodayari's death was one of the main news items (and top sports item) on many Iranian sites today.
5) There were international protests at the HK game because of this today
6) As the leader in discussing issues related to Iranian football, this belongs on the first page (not requiring a sign in)
7) By stifling debate and burying this in the general forum, you are taking an active side on one side of the issue (which happens to the historically wrong one)
Anyway, the sad news continued today, and with Sahar's death, former TM players Karimi, Majidi, and Teymourian came out in support of her, with Teymourian saying one day tehre will a large stadium in Iran named after her.
