If IRAQ wins all 3 matches (beating Iran)
If BAHRAIN wins 2 matches & lose to Iran
If IRAN wins 3 matches and lost to IRAQ

we have this table

IRAQ - 20 points
BAHRAIN - 15 points
IRAN - 15 points

Remember that......only half of 2nd teams go through. The current goal difference for 2nd place teams are:
Kuwait + 14
China +11
South Korea +10


Iran goal difference is +14

We need to make:

a) we get as many goals on Hong kong and Cambodia to increase our goal difference
b) win against Bahrain any results, just WIN

and we are through.

Someone should just tell Qatar to give up their place in the next qualifying round (guessing they will qualify) and then this extra place could be given to the next best second placed team.

In all honesty I am confident we will win the next four games. I think that last game against Iraq will be for top place and we will do it.

After the goalless draw between Bahrain and Iraq today
Iraq wins next 2 matches ends up with 17
Bahrain wins next 2 ends up with 15
We win next 3 (including Bahrain) end up with 15
Final group match : Iran v Iraq June 8, 2020 in Tehran VERY SIMPLE ... Iran MUST win, a draw is good enough for Iraq
Basically we have to win 4 games .

If we can't , we don't deserve to go to any World Cup ANYWAYS ...
