The way Beiranvand plays is that he plays a bit further forward from his line and his defenders know this. The defender had to play the ball back to him and yes it was a weak chest back to Beiranvand but to say he isn't at fault and that the defender was at goal is a big exaggeration and unfair. He made a mistake and there is no denying that, goalkeeper mistakes are normally worsened by the fact that it normally leads to a goal being so close to the net. When an outfield player makes a mistake it doesn't necessarily go noticed or get emphasized but that the case for a keeper and comes with the role.
For me he's had a poor game overall, made a couple of great saves in the first half and nearly saved the penalty. His long distribution has been poor so I don't think he's had a good game. I'm not bashing him and I'm a fan of his and want him to succeed but there's no denying what can be seen.
I just hope he can have a better half an hour left and makes a massive difference so that the first half blunder can be forgotten.
