    Iranian Football: Sport Business Thread

It would be great to have a thread dedicated the business of sport in Iran. Whilst there are many challenges related to the governance, commercialisation and day-to-day operations etc. Let's openly debate where the current problems lie and how solutions can be found.

For example from a Stadium Operations perspective
Ticketing - How does this currently work in Iranian Football? How much do the clubs earn? How much goes back to Sazeman League?

    From a Commercial perspective
How does the current Broadcasting & TV Rights work? How much are sponsors paying for advertising?

It would be great if all members can type their questions on all different topics and other members look to solve such queiries

Obviously for transparency reasons related to who runs Iranian football all of this info wont be public.

I'll contribute that the main problem is that clubs are not reimbursed enough by the state(if at all) for IRIB to broadcast their games and that leads to some shortages. Since club money is controlled by government influences, there is a lot less flexibility on how the club can run itself.

In terms of player contracts, agents in Iran look for turnover and opportunity. Its been an issue for our players trying to go abroad before.

This is an excellent thread idea
