    Saudi will win it.

And before I see the "we're not professional enough" comments, this is stupid Asia. None of that matters. Just who you bribe the most.
In terms of atmosphere, it would be best in Iran.

I see Qatar instead. Saudi won't even accept to host Iran.
Don't know why Iran loses its time with such bid

Propaganda to fool the public in Iran. They don't have the funds to host it. It's just something to put in the news that "we bid for it, didn't get it".

If in reality we have no chance of hosting due to Arab influence in AFC we should have just helped Qatar get it.

Iran is a damn sight better for any Asian football fan than going to Saudi. In a fair world, if IR let women into the stadium this wouldn't even be a question for AFC to have to ponder.

Saudi has the most powerful lobby in AFC now. They singlehandedly pushed for BeinSports to lose all rights to AFC games so their own boys can take over.
I can't stress enough how much Saudi money is in the AFC.

                lmao.

Not a chance in a million years unless we have a regime change by then.

Nokhodi isn't wrong though. Facilities are one thing but bribe money is a real thing too.
Qatar should know..thats how they got the World cup in the first place.

In a slightly related manner, watch how ugly the Saudi takeover of Newcastle gets as Qatar is going to sue Saudi for its piracy of BeInSports through BeOutQ.

Sports will be one way these countries will war with each other.

The Asian cup is not that important now that the confederations cup is gone. The only reason to win now is because we haven't for so long. We need proper planning for that now as every 4 yrs something seems to go very wrong/we are unlucky.

Good job. Does all 82 million know that? Cause it can't be just major cities and urban areas. The whole country needs to know.

We can host the AC. We're no less than the UAE who hosted the games in high school grade stadiums.
The real question is: WHY should we host it? So that we can mistreat the visitors just like how we disrespect public figures in social media?

Last time I checked, UAE still has access to the global financial system and can sell their oil at full capacity to pay for things. Last time I checked, 70% of Iran's exports are petroleum and petroleum related products. Kind of hard to pay for things when you are sanctioned head to toe. I agree with your comment about WHY should they host it. Don't even have to go that far using disrespect public figures on social media as an example. The country has tons of other needs.

To be honest I'm not that familiar with advanced economical topics but still thanks for the info!
Anyway when I picture it in my head it's possible. You will get awesome tourist income as well in tourist sites like nesf-e-jahan, bazaar of Tabriz etc
