It will be an amazing opportunity to improve the country's football infrastructure and take it to a new level. Having said that, the power of markets and advertising will not allow it. Hejaab and still restricting women's stadium attendance is minor considering the power of alcoholic beverages sponsorship and the revenue for the AFC. Add to that the fact that all the sanctions have made integration of Iran and international financial systems very problematic. Specifically, you can not easily use a Visa (or any other major) credit cards in Iran. Tourists have to carry a lot of cash and it is a big problem. Even if this last one is resolved with the new Biden Administration in the US (and that's still a big if), the other first couple of issues will still be in the way. It's very unlikely for Iran to win this bid. I hope to be made wrong here .

You full well know what you're doing and sarcastically mocking like that is still tohin and mocking the beliefs of muslims. If there was a cup called the cup you mentioned then ye your point would be valid but you're just trying to sarcastically mock the religion and people's beliefs just because you are against the Islamic Republic, and your point of view is so focus and narrow that you're failing to recognise how you're genuinely doing it...

I am curious to know how many tourist travelled only for Asian cup in qatar, uae..

One problem with some of the older stadiums, such as Ghadir and Yadegar e emam (Sahand) is their distance from city centers. They are literally in the middle of buttfuck nowhere with no landscaping, shops, literally anything around them but desert or mountain. Its stupid from logistical standpoint and also economic as a ton of restaurants, shops around well planned out stadiums get a huge economic boost from matchdays.

AQR is super good in this regard, so is foolad arena.

The image above is of Tabriz University stadium in the center of the city. The backdrop and city itself is beautiful and looks very modern. If the same university stadium was redone it would be perfect for Tractor matches ,but also TM.

I wish for our cities like tabriz, ahvaz, masshad, Isfahan, Shiraz to continue developing their stadiums, practice pitches, etc so one day all these cities across the country can comfortably host TM matches, with appropriate accomodations for opponents. After all it is Iranian national team, not just tehran.

It would be great if they they allow iran to host it. Its a win win situation for both parties. Iran is forced to obey all the laws , which includes allowing females in the stadium sitting next to males and possibly with "Relaxed" hijab .

I just hope they look at it politically and give it to iran.

iran will never be able to host the games, most likely a mdoerate west asian country will get it
