in somewhat related news, charleroi sold their young RB Maxime busi (21) to Parma, for EU 7.5M.They replaced him with another super highly rated young RB for just 1 mil (von cleemput).

Combined with 6milEU sale of Nurio Fortuna to Gent and the -15/20 mil they got from Osimhen sale to napoli (they had a 15-20% future sell on fee) Bayat made over 30 million Euros!! thats an incredible profit for a club the size and dimension of charleroi. Combined with these sales they found good replacements and are actually having their best season yet. Its truly one of the best run clubs in europe if you take into account their size, operating budget, results, and profit. No wonder bayat is head of the PRESIDENT of belgian football FA!

Seriously cannot give them enough credit. Lets hope that this excellent tradition of making good profit on sales to big leagues/clubs (osimhen, busi, kaveh, nurio) continues with Gholizadeh next up.

Let's hope they keep snagging Iranians too. I really want someone like Taha Shariati or Mohammad Sharifi (who signed with Perspolis) to be the next wave. I don't know how Taha is doing.

Taha recovered from his bad injury and started doing well at the end of last season. Saipa is just not in a good spot now and he is staying this next season

Kaveh nearly got in behind a couple times but last ditch tackles prevented him from applying killer blow.

Gholi has been excellent. Running a lot of charleroi offense and commentators keep speaking glowingly about him. Charleroi seem more solid defensively than before this 2 week break.

Hopefully gholi gets his assist in second half.
