Sevilla and the desired Azmoun: he will be within range for two reasons
It is expected that this summer there will be movements in the Sevilla forward , first because the departure of Carlos Fernández was not covered in January and second because succulent offers will arrive for En-Nesyri and neither his sale nor that of another striker is ruled out. ED already reported at the time that in relation to the vacancy left by the youth squad Monchi has already advanced the incorporation of a forward in advantageous conditions, possibly with the release letter .
In addition, the general manager is already tracking the possibilities offered by the market in order to cover his back in the event of a transfer and already has a list that he has been dragging for a long time and to which he is adding options that are of interest . One of the names he manages is Sardar Azmoun , a 26-year-old striker of Iranian origin who has played for Zenit in Saint Petersburg since the winter of 2019.
It is a spiky battering ram (186 cms) that fits into the profile seen in Nervión and is in a magnificent state of form , as reflected in the 13 goals in 24 games he has played this season, seven of them in the last seven games.
Valued at 23 million euros by Transfermarkt, under normal conditions it would now be far from Sevilla's margin of action , due to the powerful competition and the price that Zenit could demand, but there are a series of circumstances that can put it within reach of Sevilla . And it is that, in the first place, in summer he will enter his last year of contract , which takes weight away from Zenit when negotiating, as it will be the last opportunity to make money with his transfer.
And second, because the Iranian international intends to end his time in the Russian team and try in a league and a more important team , a scenario in which, without a doubt, Sevilla has a place. Monchi is very attentive to what may happen.

The more I think about it the more I’m coming to the conclusion that Sardar would fit perfectly at Milan. He would be a perfect replacement for Zlatan. I know many disagree because of the inconsistency of AC Milan throughout the years, but it would be perfect for all parties. Not to mention he would be at the club of one of his idols

Krasnodar are 1-0 up, lucky goal as the shot was taken outside the box and mis hit and it turned into a pass that the striker was quick to react to.
Sardar had a header about 10 mins in but he had to put pace on it and the defender did well to slightly nudge him so he was off balance and the header went over the bar.

First time watching his game in a while from 15 min on
He looks a bit sluggish to me ..!? Not quite up to the intensity of the match & opposition..!
Sorta like his World Cup performances ... just lollygaging about waiting for service & half ass lazy, useless pressings when on defensive mode ..!
He is still positioning himself brilliantly as usual in and around the box & if a serviceable ball comes his way, he looks poised to hurry it or set up his teammates ..! However he needs to up his work rate & intensity of his movements if he wishes get on the scorer sheet in this game ..!
