My last favorite right back for TM was Heydari. Not because of his technique or his pace, because we all know Heydari was horrible in both departments. Specially towards the end of his career when Nigerians were bullying him left and right. But I liked Heydari because of his vision and defending abilities. He came at the right time when we needed a fix in that position and he did his part for 6 years before Ramin took over.

Ramin was better than Heydari but I believe Sadegh will surpass both in that position in the national team. He’s got good football IQ. A smart and talented defender who can only get better by continuing to start matches for Iran. I’m a fan of Moharrami.
