IPL has just announced a law banning all teams from signing foreign coaches and players for the following season. That is how they want to prevent future embarrassments of their atrocious management.

What does the subject of diaspora members politicizing everything related to Iran have to do with many of you supposedly visiting Iran every summer and having family members living there etc?
Why is Iranian football being politicized by some members here?

I beg the differ, Western media plays a vital role in the way Iranians perceive Iran. Add to that the inferiority complex some Iranians have vis-a-vis the West and you got yourself an interesting cocktail. Most Iranians inside Iran will complain about the economic situation, rightfully so of course.

Because IRGC runs everything in Iran. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

Which government entity put together the "who is Hussein" campaign and turned Azadi into a mourning ground during the TM game?

Why are all the stadiums in Iran built by bonyad?

Why is the IRIB the only outlet that has broadcasting rights on all football activities in Iran?

Iran is under bullying sanctions thus, no imports and no exports. Not much Dollars available. So when the foreign players, coaches come to Iran they should accept Iranian currency if they want to get paid. It is unfair to put pressure on Iranian clubs to pay these guys in Dollars when the exchange rate is constantly increasing against Iranian currency due the unfair and bullying US sanctions. It seems fair to me to ban clubs and federation from employing foreigners for the time being. Our football will not become "amateur" as some claim. When football is what all these people do, it is their profession. Our players' talent is undisputed. Most of our hamvatani coaches are good and capable.

              نگاه میکنید.

The geniuses working for the Iranian football association who had constructed the contract offered to Wiltits should've made it airtight so that charlatan Wiltits and his lawyer wife would not have been given the opportunity to abuse the bad situation we're in and thus unable to enrichen themselves at our cost.

For example they should have stated in the contract that due to the illegal sanctions imposed on Iran (by that terrorist nation) the US, there will be delayments in payments, it's that simple.

I'm sure Wiltits would've never signed if that were the case, any Iranian coach in the Azadegan league would've done a better job than that clueless Belgian charlatan, really shameful.

And no my friend, the Sports Ministry, loser pundits, and certain sections of domestic fans had nothing to do with the contract of Queiroz not being extended after the Asian Cup of 2019. The Iranian football federation had decided that after 8 years, it was time to hire another coach who would bring us more attacking football, the Asian cup and a second round in the World Cup, obviously they failed at that, but it was their decision an no one else's.
Don't you think the Sports Ministry was wrong? Do you not believe that CQ is undeniably a very good coach on the international level, and the best that Team Melli has had in this century? Why would you attribute the need for more "attacking football" as the reason for CQ being let-go?

I am so sick of hearing about "attacking football" from people here.. you need a fit, disciplined team first, and then you develop a better attacking style. For the record: CQ didn't prevent TM from displaying attacking-flair; he simply emphasized displaying such skill within the context of a disciplined side. (More to it than that, but you get it)

I believe that most of the members here who whinge about "attacking football" are kids, who don't know much better, and/or adults who don't have much experience playing football. A team can only play like a prime version of Barcelona or Manchester City IF the talent is there, and IF the players have the tactical IQ to learn those systems (i.e. how to move off the ball). Of course, to play like City or Barca, a manager needs a team that has.. wait for it.. discipline and fitness. This is what CQ instilled in the side.

This might be one of the biggest scandals of IFF or may I say on world level. Wilmots basically got €6 million euro’s for two losses against Iraq and Bahrain putting our qualifying in jeopardy, while terminating his own contract and not even having to work inside Iran. Whoever agreed to this contract should be named and shamed.

I know IFF is at the wrong here because of their incompetence and their stupidity. But Marc Wilmots is starting to reach Graham Potter level annoying with this. He’s really being an asshole. What a fake individual. I wouldn’t be surprised if the news of players seeing him laughing/joking around on the flight back from the Iraq loss is true. ****ing prick.

And what an idiot Taj was for assuming he’d find another Queiroz.. The idiot didn’t realize and forgot Carlos himself had issues in Portugal which was why he was used to late payments and the lies.
