IFF loses case against Wilmots. Must pay over 6 million euros!!

I thought this deserved a new thread. Incompetence at it's best. I really hope Taj or whoever else's fault this is gets punished. We lost the best coach we ever had for this joke of a coach and due to a supposed mistake in the contract we must now pay him his full salary plus interest!! This is close to 200 billion toman at the current exchange rate. More to follow.

I don't believe it's payment for his full contract but rather pay for the time he was coach. Still it's 6 million euros.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

          Disgusting. Just disgusting.
Fire Soltanifar and Davarzani for forcing Queiroz out.
Fire Taj for being a yes man despite never wanting Wilmots.
Fire whoever wrote the damn contract.

It was rather obvious the way they orchestrated it through All their media outlets & turning the idiot domestic PP fans against him by using their long-time matarsak (brangoh)

Lol at Taj for saying that with CQs contract we made some mistakes that we have remedied with Vilomots’. Pure example of the incompetence that have been running the country for so many years.

This nation does not deserve a jewel like CQ as head coach.

As much as I dislike Misaghi, tune into tv3 to watch the program currently on the issue.

misaghi himself is the issue. For months him and the rest of cronies with 8 iq points pedalled the ridiculous CQ is overpaid, rude, and doesnt play attacking football narrative. He thought we could get better...He was orgasming when we scored 5 goals on syria. Well this is where it ended up.

And I defended taj here before bc I thought and still think to some extent this was all way over his head as he stuck his neck on line multiple times to keep CQ, but it seems IFFs lawyers fucked up majorly in court to lose this case and even be put in the position.

and more caution needed to be shown. The guy has track record as charlatan and has wife who is a well known lawyer!

Is it really necessary to politicize everything that goes on in Iran? From it's football to Nowrouz to the wrongdoings of ones neighbour? Is IR some sort of divine entity that controls everything in Iran?

Agha jan, if the Dutch football association named the KNVB messes things up, is the football association to blame or the Dutch government? What does the government have to do with the KNVB? These are two totally different institutions.

It's very tiresome to see and read every single thing that has to do with Iran being politicized by the diaspora. There is not a single country in the world where the government controls every little thing, such a phenomenon does not exist, especially in a big country such as Iran.

The persons that had designed and set up the idiotic contract with Wiltits (and thus work for IFF) are to blame and nothing else.

Aha yes sound theory! I guess this is why Carlos Queiroz was the headcoach of TM for 8 years! Na aziz, after 8 years the Iranian football association had decided that it was time for a change, they wanted TM to win the Asian cup and that hiring another coach would bring TM more success. It's that simple. Mind you 8 years in international football is a long time. And IFF despite the sanctions and obstacles it faced paid Queiroz a great salary. In a hindsight, they made the wrong choice in hiring an incompetent Wiltits but that's what happens in football, so nothing new there either.

The Iranian football association and the Iranian government are two separate institutions. It is time to give Iran credit as a country and show respect, at least that is my opinion. Being condescending and negative regarding everything Iranian and making up conspiracy theories will bring us nowhere man.

While its not ok to be negative about all things Iranian, the evidence pointing to the almost tentacle like grasp of the government in our football is undeniable.

There was no "deciding". There was a unified effort by the Sports Ministry, loser pundits, and certain sections of domestic fans(I speak as a fan of Persepolis as well) to get rid of CQ. Anyone who rewatches domestic media regarding Team Melli in the last 2 years prior to CQs departure can see the smear campaigns.

Of course there were many miscalculations on their part. Branko left to Saudi, Wilmots was a worse coach than could possibly be imagined, and our qualification is now at risk.

There are few to to zero clubs in Iran that are privately owned, TV rights are controlled by state media, and player sales are influenced by sarbazi rules. There's little to suggest PGL is running independently.

I think its more of an insult to Iranians to assume this was an honest mistake and not gross incompetence by IR. I'm sure if politics was not an issue there would be a more competent group of Iranians to run our football domestic or diaspora.
