I was and am a critic, I haven't badmouthed him though or said anything on these forums on the topic IIRC.
In the past 2 years he's played a total of 14 games. Not being able to break through one team is understandable, but not being able to break through 2 is a pattern. That's all.

You do realize he was injured, right? People were too quick to blame his attitude when his actual problem was his manifold injuries.

From what I have just seen he has been strong at the back, a couple of misplaced passes going forward but he has been strong defensively.
Also as you say , the team are on the back foot so far .

Just turned on the match:

Saeid wins a beautiful challenge, then threads a nice ball to a forward who gets fouled. He then takes like a 40 m free kick and cracks it hard! Not a bad effort but goes a bit wide!

Against the run of play, the ref awarded an absolutely ridiculous penalty call

The velje player literally had his arms crossed in front of his chest, ref didn’t even bother checking var.

Really sad because velje have been close to equalizing all half
