He had 5 shots, only 1 on target though. He plays miles ahead of his team

Brentford have signed Ivan Toney (striker , plays different role to Saman).
Interesting tweet from Lyall Thomas (Sky Sports reporter and usually accurate with his reports) that Amiens are reluctant to sell Saman.

If this is their own info (which I think is the case) and not recycling from other sources then there is probably a lot of truth in it. I think amiens may come to realize that saman is playing kind of like crap for them and not making a big difference. To expect an unmotivated player with the amount of shit hes been through to catapult you to promotion with a really shitty team that lost all their main guys is pie in the sky. Better off taking that 5-6 mil Brentford are willing to offer, including a sell on percentage, and cutting your losses.

Aston Villa have put a massive 28 million pounds plus 5 million in add ons offer for Ollie Watkins that looks like it will go through.
Amiens will now surely be demanding more money for Saman with Brentford getting that money in.

They are so clever at what they do, bringing players in for smaller prices, on the whole, and then selling on for bigger money.
Their entire midfield is composed of underrated/avg players from danish first tier who became highly serviceable in england and provide a stable axis to build from (maybe saeid after a great season??)
To me this is all evidence that they are capable of developing players, regardless of their age, who have a certain level of talent that may have been overlooked by many clubs or not nurtured properly. To do this in a league as physical and intense and Championship really speaks volumes of the work they are doing. For these reasons I think it really is a perfect fit for saman and still hold out hope it happens.

And they are not super young either (like signing 18 year olds that are highly touted to be stars). Maupay and Benrahma were bench players at midtable ligue 1 teams St ettiene and Nice respectively. Neither had super impressive stats pre brentford at all. Guys like rico henry, watkins, now his replacement Toney all come from lower tiers of english football.

Money ball definitely works at Brentford.
Rico Henry is an interesting one, I worked with his mom whilst he was at Walsall. Dean Smith being boss at the time of Brentford sold it for him as he was his manager at Walsall before. He had offers from other clubs (stereotypically bigger clubs) and he went there when he was being touted as the ‘next Ashley Cole’. He was unlucky with injuries but it has now shown it was the right move.
