Understandably struggled in the first ten mins playing out of position , on the attack he has played some lovely balls into the box . One of which led to the corner that Dunk scores from.

Swapped sides with Trossard , just as I thought they would be doing 😃

As he’s natural right winger, when playing on the left, every time he gets the ball he comes inside and passes to the right.

He was doing great offensively on the right. Not sure why he got switched. He intercepted a ball or two but defensively he’s been poor. Some of it is due to them playing 3 at the back but he’s got to be in position a bit earlier for defensive coverage.

Offensively, pretty much anything he’s put into the box has been dangerous.

Back on the right and already got another cross in. Much better.

He’ll probably be subbed first, undeservedly. Maupay, Trossard and wellbeck have all been very quiet and should ideally go first.

You can see why a striker like Weghorst got so many goals at AZ, he plays some lovely balls into the box. Offensively he has been brilliant - those quick clever passes he plays around the box has opened up space for others to attack.
Defensively - it isn’t his game but he has to do better. He looks far more comfortable pressing and winning the ball further up the pitch but you can see he is not comfortable defending and getting the ball around his own box.
