He's not even worthy enough to shine Mahrez's shoes, how is he going to be his replacement?
Anyways, I'm just giving my honest take just like many others in this same exact thread have been doing and I will never change my opinion. But what I can't have is you falsely associating him with my club or even fluff/entertain the idea that if he were to join my team he would be an EPL superstar. He has been consistently poor for TM and his own club (see recent matches).

Can we atop with the hate for AJB?!! Regardless of his footballing abilities, he seems to be an upstanding young man of impeccable character. It is the coach's job to pick players and he has been picked by the current and past coach. I am sure he has tried his best when he played.

However, I do believe that Brighton, more specifically Potter, has ruined him as a player. Eredivisie may be an offensive league, but to be the leading scorer in an offensive league is even more special. He is a shadow of old-self. IMO Potter's failed attempt at installing a tiki tak system has taken the edge off of AJB's game and made him a so so player.

While it is fair to criticize his performance, it is never fair to make it personal. It is an honor to represent your country on TM, but it is also incredibly stressful. He did his best. Let's leave it at that and wish him the best of luck in leaving that crappy team and finding his old form in a team coached by a more competent coach.

The team seems to always do better with him when he is involved with the roster. Players feed off of his professional attitude and approach to the game. That itself is unreplaceable.

Ah, yes just because he says he has an offer obviously makes it true... If he said that the sky is purple I'm sure there'd be quite a few who would believe him as well. I could write you a book about how many players swore they had "offers" from XYZ club, subsequently none of which turned out to be true. Show me a proper English source (e.g. Sky Sports, The Guardian, or BBC Sport), then we'll talk business.

Yea my bad. Regardless, there’s more to media than just those 3 sources you mentioned. What does JB gain from saying he had an offer from Leicester after he already joined Brighton? Clout? If he wanted that, Leicester would be the last club in my mind that he’d both mentioning. He could have said Manchester, Chelsea, Tottenham, or Leverkusen or whatever. But Leicester? There’s no reason to lie about that

Plenty of sources aside from the ones you seem to take as the word of God made the reports and yet your ignorance wants to just make things up and deny it. For what purpose? What do you gain from shitting on JB?

Right (hence why it says RUMOR), which turned out to be false eventually as all the so called rumors pointed back to Iranian sources, like Vananews. Like you yourself said no reputable sources have confirmed it.

Again, because he says there's an offer, then it must be true.

If this reported move for stuttgart wing nico Gonzalez happens...probably pretty high. He is actually a very solid winger who would suit their play style/england way more. That would leave them with trossard, gonzalez, conolly, gross, macallister for the wing/cam areas which is probably enough.

Somehow I don’t see him taking initiative to leave though, would probably have to come from the club signing another player and asking him to consider finding a new team

ARJ really made a mistake by choosing his current manager who seems to have a real small network : (

His best chance is a move back into the eredivisie, but not 1 club here can afford him (so he needs to accept a paycut like no other).
I REALLY hope he is ready to invest in himself and accepts such a paycut, goes back to the eredivisie to redeem himself and earns himself and the Dutch club who invests in him a good transfer after WC2022.
