Ansarifard is another great example of how it makes a difference to be in the right environment, where the coach trusts you and gives you regular playing time from early on. Struggled at Osasuna and at Nottingham, but was great for all three Greek clubs. Similar things can be seen with Gucci, Kaveh, etc.
Jahanbakhsh and Beiranvand should learn and move on. And we should learn not to write off our best players when they struggle in a specific environment.

That’s true, but look at Brighton. They’re a EPL team, but are they significantly better than a team like AEK?

Is ARJ really that bad he can’t even crack its starting lineup? A player is a seed that needs the right soil, sunlight, and water to flourish.

Of course, the player needs to have minimum level of talent. I don’t doubt that Karim and ARJ are lacking in that department, or else they would’ve looked outta their element against the likes of Spain & Portugal.

Good job Karim! I hope ARJ follows suit and finds a compatible team.

I actually thought he was quite decent at forest. Fans liked him, scored a few goals. He wasnt there for very long but it was actually an ok fit if he stayed long term.

The top three or four in Greece will beat any team in the Championship and Segunda Liga so let's not exaggerate these two leagues. Olympiakos, AEK Athene and Panathinaikos play champions league and europe league, the difference between the levels of the mentioned leagues is small. Rather as Martin Reza rightly pointed out, the environment is important. Luis Suarez is playing much better for Atletico than he did last season for Barcelona. Juan Sebastian Veron was amazing In the Serie A with Sampdoria, Parma and Lazio as well as Inter, but played mediocre at Manchester United and flopped at Chelsea etc, it doesn't mean that a player does not have qualities when he fails at a certain club or league. Things are not black and white. Jahanbakhsh thrives at clubs that play attacking football with real wingers such as in the Eredivisie, Brighton doesn't suit his style. The same AZ where JB shined is very much capable of beating Brighton. The thing that really separates the two teams is their tactics and playing style, their football philosophy if you may. The same goes for Ansarifard, Greece really suits him, so let's not belittle the man's qualities (which he clearly has) because you believe that the Championship and Segunda Division are super strong and Greece is super weak.

First of all, from the top 3 clubs in Greece he has played for two of them Olympiakos and AEK Athens (unless you want him to score own goals), secondly what matters is if he is consistent in playing an important role for his club in the league (which he was and is). Also, playing at Olympiakos and AEK Athens means that he is playing football at a higher level than all the Championship and Segunda Division teams.

The only greek team that is quality is olympiacos, and they are in better form since KA left the team.
AEK and PAOK are decent some season but that doesn't last.

They are still better than Championship and Segunda Division clubs. Because you claimed in your previous post that AEK Athens and Olympiakos where not at the same level as English Championship and Spanish Segunda Division, and this is not correct. In fact, Olympiakos, AEK Athens, PAOK Saloniki and Panathinaikos (the traditional Greek top 4) will beat clubs in the Championship and the Segunda Division.

^^ Segunda Division isn't better than the top-3 of Greece. Did anyone ever watched Segunda Division matches? Championship clubs have (too much) a lot of money and therefor can bring in quality players. But the few games i watched from these clubs in this division didn't impress me that much. Maybe the top5 can defeat Greece teams sometimes, but i tend to believe their not better in the long run.

AEK won 1-0. He played the full 90 minutes. Hit the post with an header in the dying minutes. The rebound was scored by his teammate but the goal was disallowed due to offside position.

AEK climbed with this victory to the 2nd place.

Greek source stated that he missed the training session on Friday due to a minor knock. It was mentioned as a slight sprain. They expect him to be back for the next match.
