Not too sure, some countries count a domestic suspension as exactly that, a domestic suspension, therefore cup games etc are included in the suspension. So he could be out of the cup game. I just hope it's a 1 game suspension and not a 3 match suspension

The Sporting game is a Cup match. Nothing to do with the league so he should be fine for cup matches
