I have noticed that the last 2-3 games, Mehdi is too far from the goal with attacks. I dont know if that's SC directive or it's Mehdi's own positioning.

Probably bit of both , service not been there as much in previous games so he has come deeper to get the ball. Also can use his strength and skill , good close control of the ball to lay the ball off and look for the 1-2.
