he knows the monumental task at hand for his team trying to reverse a 2-0 home loss .... he is going to need goals and needs it sooner than later in the return match and a fully rested and ready to run full 90+ minute Mehdi and Oliverio is paramount for his come-back strategy..!!
i noticed Chelsea often defending with huge numbers in the last tie, so he really needs Sergio to take some outside the box cracks on their goal and as noticed earlier without Taremi Porto were badly lacking in terms of a always available Big Target in the Center of Box....!
IMO, Porto really can not count on combination inside the crowded Chelsea box for goals .... they should instead pepper their crowded box with serviceable high balls for Mehdi to latch on to and Oliverio must take some of his heavy-footed outside shots and hope for a lucky bounce or a keeper spill to pounce on to for goals..!! if they can pull at least 1 goal back in the first half then i'd fancy their chances in the 2nd half..!
