Congratulations to Taremi for a fantastic first season at Porto. However, he looked rather lost against Syria and Hong Kong. Understandingly since it has been an exhausting season and he has players of lesser quality to provide him, but he really needs to step it up against Bahrain and Iraq. Come on Mehdi, give it one more time and show them why you are one of Asia's best CF's.

opponent is worse...He is good for dealing with idiot defenses like US that are passing him the ball 4 feet from goal. I dont think he can make right decision consistently vs better defenses, in critical situations on big stage.

This is all exacerbated when he is given more defensive responsibility which he really isnt strong in either but porto are sometimes low on options.

Anyways, his deficiencies kind of show bc 1 year from expiry of contract looks like best offer he will get is fiorentina

watched the final. Porto Goalkeeper Diogo Costa had some incredible saves with his leg. Without him Germany would’ve probably scored at least another 2 goals on Portugal

Chico Conceicao also had some pretty impressive moments coming off the bench in the second half too
