article detailing how taremi rejected big offers from Sporting and Benfica in final days to choose porto. 1.2M/yr from Sporting, 1.6M/yr from Benfica, constant contact from Carvahal and Braga as well. He will get circa 1 mil in Porto.
One of the main reasons they give for him retaining an "undeniable desicion making power throughout the process" was his hold of 40% of economic rights which means the fee netted from his transfer that went directly to his pockets allowed him more freedom when it came to choosing his club.
Good on him for keeping his word to porto and signing for league champs and Pot 1 CL team. Also his agent Reza Fazeli (who still has a big stable of top clients including Leverkusen and Dortmund coaches, emre can, gotze, dahoud, bertrand traore) again proved that he is a shrewd operator getting taremi that 40% in the first place when he joined rio ave.
Taremi ended up making more money in portugal than probably would have been possible if he remained in qatar. Not immediately but once you account for the 40% fee and his new salary. Just goes to show if certain players (like PAG) who have undeniable quality have a bit of foresight, confidence, and vision they can improve themselves as players and iran's reputation abroad, while not sacrificing big money in the long run at all. If at the end of his years at porto taremi decides to go back to qatar bc of his exploits any salary offers will be much higher than ever before too.

People here justify the lack of decent EU offers to the bad agent, lack of connection.. But it isn't valid for torabi here!
