Especially if he can establish himself as a regular starter in championship this season..!? @ a very least he could be a huge boost to sales of a TM calendar issue, if we had to resort to desperate measures of raising money for IFF after Wiltits’s contract debacle.Comment

Tafazolli quite simply is not Iran NT standard and that's not a bad thing, people acting like it's bad that he isn't. It's fine, he doesn't need to be TM standard. It's not for everyone.
We have players in Iran who are far more superior in all aspects such as Salimi, Aghasi, Moradmand, Gholami who are also younger.
Best of luck to him but without an Iranian passport, Queiroz himself didn't rate him nor did his staff and already relegated from Championship once... He is not Iran National Team standard and will not be called up.Comment

Agreed, and glad to have him here. Unfortunately, the consensus seems to be he doesn't have the athleticism to be a high caliber championship starter, let alone an international one.
