Leicester recent good form and high position is good for Brentford , it means they will rest players. Definitely Vardy and Maddison who need a rest.

If I am right in remembering if Brentford and Brighton both win then they face each other in next round.

apparently they were under a lot of pressure after min 35-40 yesterday and had to defend to squeeze out another win (16 unbeaten in championship now).

The fact Frank left Saman on until min 83 (last sub) shows that he believes even in RCM role Saman can carry out defensive/pressing duties and has the fitness to help on that side of the game in general.

Thats very good news for both his standing in the team personally as well as TM.

Given the way things are going with ARJ I really wouldnt count on him for TM until he leaves brighton. Fitness wise he looks to always be 2-3 matches away from 2-3 weeks out.

I like to see gholizadeh ( I think has guaranteed his spot in xi following his recent TM games and season for Charleroi), Ghoddos in CAM/RW roles. Their high technique and footballing IQ will be hard to control once they get some chemistry together and can interchange, and will open up space for the two main guys to do their business up top.

Yeah, that's going to be a huge blow in the upcoming weeks in our quest to achieve CL football, we really need that Edouard transfer. Perez and/or Ihenacho to feature. As should Soyuncu and Ricardo looking to get back into match fitness, maybe Ünder. Vardy obviously injured and Maddison to be rested after run of many games. Will be interesting to see how many players BR rests and what formation/tactics he chooses given the fact we have Everton away 3 days after.

Definitely will be a good game to watch on Sunday and by no means an easy game for us. Brentford in my eyes are a Premier League level side who deservedly should be in the Premiership over some of the teams who are already there, their good results against Premier League teams speaks for itself.
