Can you share a little more details please? I wasn’t aware this was the case in Austria. Was it Azizi you’re talking about?

I hope Reza can do in Austria what Kaveh did in Belgium. All it took was one professional player with a professional attitude to change the mind of Bayat and I guess other Belgian clubs. The flood gates really opened after Kaveh.

Basically there was some Austro-Iranian guy in management of Admira, plus 3 players. The manager pretty much failed and even worse, he made headlines for getting into a brawl with fans. Similarly one of the players, forgot his name fortunately, got a very long ban for a fight as well. Was pretty embarrassing.

Unrelated to that incident, what was the one guys name that moved to Austrian 2nd divison and scored lots of goals there, later moved back to Iran and got the fair play of the year at the Fifa ceremony in like 2011, 2012? I remember one of our Austria members always hangin out with him postin pictures and stuff.

Ah, yes, Faraji, no idea where he came from. Mohseni was the name of the manager, was also involved with that Slovak club Dunajska Streda...

The guy who played in second league for them was Amin Motevazelzadeh. Not a bad striker but no one could spell his name here in Austria lol.

SKN coach Robert Ibertsberger on Reza last week, "He still needs a bit of time. Once he's there where we want him to be, he'll make a great impact."

Noch kein Thema sind bei St. Pölten die Neuzugänge Reza Asadi und Martin Majnovics. Der Iraner Asadi soll künftig im defensiven Mittelfeld eine echte Verstärkung sein. Reza Asadi's success in Austria is important to the future of our TM. He is tall and has a lethal header and if he matures his game and fitness he could be a sub to Ezatollahi or even start when he is not available for TM. If I am not mistaken, he is the only DM we have in Europe except for Ezatollahi.

Terrible on the ball though, he's not a particularly great footballer, one of the reasons Tractor pushed him into CB for a good chunk of last season. He's not that much better than Noorafkan

we are not deep in this position. WE cannot afford to totally disregard a player of his age and physical qualities who went to a solid starter Euro League just bc you dont think theyre a particularly good footballer. And noorafkan showed in his short cameo vs uzbekistan he can actually be a useful TM squad player, and I think its fairly easy to say asadi was more impressive than him in PGPL so he could make an impact too.

That's false, Noorafkan had a better season than Asadi. Asadi struggled to get into the team over Imani, Hajsafi and Mehri.

His move to Austria is positive though, maybe he improves
