I really didn't get excited watching Ehsan & Vahid but other than that it wasn't a bad 1st half after so long and under a new coach with a new system.

Given the fact that we haven’t held any camps or played any matches in a year, I accept this performance as the start of a new era and new built foundation. They’re still not 100% comfortable with one another on the field but it makes sense given the circumstances. But I see a lot of potential in this team. We have so many gifted players.

Can’t believe Hajsafi has 109 games, has played under every team Melli coach since 2008, and continues to never be impressive lol what does he do to keep playing time??

Also as I always see, Amiri is not a good player. He can’t defend or attack all he does is run or give up the ball.

I've been critical of his temperament, but Shoja has been very good this match. Smart defending and good distribution. He's much better than Kanani, for example.
