Deserved win after a good first half. But I have to say, the performance of a few players was really shockingly poor. Amiri, Moharrami or later Nemati, that wasn't worth of Team Melli players. Amount of turnovers and stupid fouls just inacceptable.

PP players were tired. That was obvious they couldn't run or think. But overall a good test for the coach IMO.

Decent friendly and a good win. TM needs a lot of work. Pass accuracy is a big problem. The team is out of sync. That's why friendlies are important. We need to play a lot better against Mali. I am not sure what the game plan was.

Happy to see TM back, a win always helps in morale. This was jsut a game to see majority of the players play, I’m sure our coach learned a lot and we will hopefully see improvements against Mali

Moharrami? I thought he was the 2nd best player on the pitch today besides Gholizadeh.

Amiri and Hajsafi were poor, Amiri probably due to fatigue. Nemati was also poor but the rest of the team were okay. This is the first team melli game in over a year it'll take time for this team to gel

We were dominated in 1st half & UZ clearly the better team..!
Also thought Sadegh was pretty solid & active mist all game ..!?

I’m impressed with Gholizadeh and Moharrami. Moharrami made 2 mistakes but other than that he was very solid in his position. I also like Shoja he’s a fearless and confident CB, However.. he is unpredictable like Shojaei. In that he fouls a lot and that’s risky, as a central defender. I see why Carlos wasn’t into him. But he has grown as a player and it has been 6 years since his last appearance for Iran.

At the end it was a cluster jam up front. The players weren’t meshing well and that’s not surprising. Once Sardar and Mehdi came off you could tell the dots weren’t connecting. This is good news because now Skocic knows somewhat what works and what doesn’t vs physical teams like Uzbekistan.

All in all it was a decent friendly, definitely not the best game but I’m happy with the result.

Ghoddos also good when he came on. Noorafkan looked mobile and hardworking, Not a bad squad player in a couple years I think.

Nemati bad, never again please. Hajsafi worst. Nourollahi+amiri a combo of shit and tired. Niazmand looked so so. He is a good gk but looked a bit low on confidence today. Hajsafi should be dropped from TM like shojaei and co soon. A real waste of space.

One of the positives I will take from this game is that Skocic seems like he understands the players and their roles far better than Willtits. He was making the right subs and starting the right players.

We just need to see what he will take away from this game and make the correct changes for the Mali game. Should be a good one to see what a better goal keeper and a more solid midfield do against a non-Asian team.

My god.. literally almost every play shown in these highlights shows Gholizadeh being an absolute magician with his passes. Definitely MOTM imo

Couldn’t have said it better tbh hope moharrami becomes more solid with games to come especially the next one. I think vs Mali midfield should be Ali Karimi Norollahi and Omid wasn’t too bad either. We could also go more attacking by Putting ghoddos in as CAM and keeping the same starting front three up top.
This game showed that we really badly need midfielders especially box to box ones which can help build the game up from the defense I noticed we were doing more of those 1-2s then bezan ziresh balls while the Uzbeks were actually building up from the back. Omid Ebrahimi needs to be back in place of ehsan and Ezatolahi Needs to come back and tell Ahmad thanks u very much for keeping my number warm lol I hope Reza Asadi sees good posh raft in Austria as we neeed more European based midfielders that is a huge key to our success. Also Shoja plus Kanaani good but definitely by far not as good as an in form PAG and Majid. Niazmand you know well... you tried. Amir and Beiro all the way 3rd gk is up for grabs I’d say
