And yes I did a lot of football shows even on different TV channels long before I started the music carrier. :-) I also was the director/producer for Abi-Ghermez show on ParsTV which was very popular in Iran and USA at the time.

Hahaha I was there with a whole bunch of my friends. I doubt TM has ever seen so many girls in a stadium like that day.

Also I am confident no stadium hosting TM friendlies abroad has ever had so many Iranian spectators in its stadium. Rose bowl stadium that day was almost full. And 90% Iranians. US felt it was playing an away match Hahahaha

I went to all the Iran games in Aust during the Asia cup. They were predominantly iranians, stand after stand was iran colours in the stadiums. They even had iranian crowd cheer leaders flown in from iran. It was unreal. The only game where we had fan competition in was iraqs game in canberra, half the crowd was iraqis, and didnt they rub it in at the end outside the stadium. If it wasnt for that idiotic aussie referee!

I don't think Amiri is good enough to be there. Same goes for Nourallahi and Hajsafi, very poor midfield tbh. He doesn't have any better options. I would have inserted Ghoddos in there, 100%.

Well in normal situation ezatolahi and ebrahimi start , arj probably starts and Gholi can be shifted to midfield. So from that standpoint I agree with you, ideally we have a totally different midfield 3 of ebrahimi-ezatolahi-Gholi/ghoddos with arj Sardar taremi up top.

But, it must be said :
Nourollahi played super well for TM vs Iraq. Our best player by far so I think he proved in that terrible situation he is a tm level player. Amiri is in excellent form for PP in ACL and always will run the equivalent of 2 ppl and give you physicality. He is probably our best ball advancer from deep areas too, as we saw in wc. His drives forward can really break lines. So for backups these two are solid options.

I expect ali karimi and ghoddos to start vs mali
