Considering the striker situation currently at Brighton, I actually would say JB not transferring this window and getting a chance to prove he can preform in English football as an "=". Gives him a chance to bring his value back up for the Winter transfer window.

I feel JB (and Hosseini btw) won't be treated fairly this season, despite the Carabao cup illusion + some minutes here and there in the league, in a team that doesn't suit his qualities. The summer transfer window could have been a good opportunity for a fresh start.

His stock was very low though. Clearly the options he had were no sufficient enough for him or Brighton to consider. As it stands, He's one Connolly/Tossard/Maupay injury away from being a starter.

Still disappointing from someone saying he has serious interest of good team of Bundesliga or CL side Ajax..

Good transfer window overall. Great to see More of our boys make the move and also Delfi and Allahyar not take the easy option. Those two moves are my favourite and shows good character from two players who could be a staple of our national team going forward.

And even without an injury, I feel Connolly, short of a huge change in form, is working his way to the bench. I definitely feel that Jahanbakhsh and Mac Allistar will get their chances this half season.

100% agreed. They very easily could have returned to Iran with the excuse that Europe didn’t work out for them. Instead they showed great maturity and made very good moves to get more playtime and prove themselves

it was a great window. I would say best window we have had. We have so many EU players now its easy to lose track. I agree with all your assessments. I would give pag loan to china (-) grade.

I would add that the window is not over for iranian players.

We should expect moves to Iman Salimi to europe and if we are lucky Ali Karimi. Salimi terminated contract with tractor (paid out of his own pocket) and for him portugal is a potential landing spot. He said he has 3 official offers and will decide in next days + sort visa out to finalize move. Salimi age + CB profile in europe is a good asset for TM depth at CB. He will end up competing with PAg, Majid, Shoja, Kanaani. Similar story for ali karimi.

portuguese deadline has not hit yet and he is a free agent, just sorting out some Visa issues. He was in portugal in previous days finalizing transfer and their head coach already confirmed his arrival.

I gave a "Very Good" rating. I don't remember a transfer window this good especially with all the moves to Europe and an excellent move up for Taremi. I would have given an outstaning if we had a couple solid top tier moves (EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A).

The only difference between Very Good (which is what I voted) and outstanding was the lack of a move for Milad and Majid I think. Although a move for Sardar or AJB would’ve done the trick too
