I am one of the few people that think Moharami might not be ready. Heard a lot about him, but didn’t live up to the hype. As Nokhodi put it, his ball security in our own 3rd was very poor. He was disposed way too easily. I like the fact that he pushed the ball up, but I still much rather have Ramin there at this stage.

Now people know why i was so sad when Gholizadeh couldn't make it in world cup. Ye saro gardan az hame balatar bood !

Gholizade and Azmoun are the two stars that can change any game for us. The rest of them average. Niazman Very very very very poor!

Taremi has started giving me headaches already! The guy goes down like a Joje ! Against arab teams the ref won't give us shit for that dives.

Moharami wasn't perfect, but we have to remember our alternative is Ramin.

Ramin is also prone to errors and turnovers in our own half, plus, he's a knuckle head and prone to a stupid error that can cost us dearly.

Currently, I have a slight preference for Moharami, but Ramin should definitely be included in the squad.

I think some people have memory loss. In his first tm matches ramin was anything but secure. It took CQ closer to a full year or even more to develop him in a trusted player. And even then he had many mistakes in his game, and CQ was always providing additional cover for him on the wings, a luxury moharrami doesnt have in new system. Even against bahrain and iraq most recently ramin was terrible. Moharrami's game is far better than ramin when he entered TM. And today his game had many positives. his driving runs down the right were one of our best ball advancement options in absence of any midfield.Nearly had a great assist to sardar and in general crossing was good.

To say just bc he wasnt a 10/10 in one of his first tM games in totally new TM back 4 with no midfield means ramin should retain spot seems kind of ridiculous. I agree he was a bit sloppy in possession at the back but he showed also what an asset he can be with his recovery speed and was switched on defensively and won many fouls. Its normal for somebody to play a bit stressed in only their 2nd or 3rd international appearance.

For some of these new TM guys we are at the start of a new cycle and they need some trust so we can see their true potential in a few months. Like CQ did with taremi,Amiri,Ramin,PAG when people werent too high on them early in their TM career.

                Goalkeepers:

Niazmand: 4 - Not good enough. Call up Hamed Lak. Originally, I believed and supported that he should at least have a spot in TM for goalkeepers (regardless of pecking order), after seeing his deficiencies as a GK today I'm not so sure he should be a part going forward until he improves on his errors we have seen today as harsh as that might sound. Too early. Should have saved Shomurodov's shot!

                Defence:

Mohammadi: 7 - If you compare to previous TM games last year such as Hong Kong or Bahrain, he would be invisible at times and not offer much of an outlet on the left flank. However today was much different as he looked hungrier and was willing to get himself more involved with the game. Jolted past defenders, did not allow too much traffic on the left flank, and offered an outlet by making overlapping runs.

Shoja: 8 - I was SHOCKED when I found out through someone from Gol Bezan (and I did not believe him) on Twitter that he was called up to TM. Even more so that he got captaincy (later in the game today) LOL. If you were to tell someone here 2 years ago around these times that Shoja would be called up to TM and eventually get the captain armband chances are you would be called names and be made fun of, 2020 has been a weird year. Anyways, Golmohammadi has worked very well with Shoja in all defensive aspects of his game (both mentally/physically) within the time he joined Persepolis. Evident in today's game as well, he closed down Genoa striker Eldor Shomurodov a couple of times while also matching him for pace. Won a couple of aerial duels with a couple of physical battles against their forwards. Good performance within the context that he played 120 mins Saturday against Al-Nassr in an intense ACL semi-final match.

Kanaani: 7 - Solid... Golmohammadi did great with Kanaani too this season.

Moharrami: 5 - Was partially at fault for Uzbekistan's first goal, should have marked their #13 better. Lost the ball a couple of times, although he did always go back and try an retrieve it. Good crosses delivered inside the 18/great speed and dribbling to run past defenders. An OK game overall, but he could still do better defensively. Personally, I think he will be Skočić's preferred player in the RB role and has many things going in favor of him for that to be the case (e.g. playing for Croatia's best team, formerly being Skočić's pupil at Malavan, younger age, etc...)

                Midfield:

Nourollahi: 6 - Played decent for the most part with a couple of mistakes/errors which I am sure can be attributed to tiredness and fatigued.

                Hajsafi: 3 - *sighs*

Amiri: 4 - Was very poor today and hopefully it can be attributed to fatigue and tiredness.

                Offence:

Gholizadeh (MOTM): 10 - No explanation needed really, head and shoulders above everyone else on the field today. AK8 2.0?

Taremi: 5 - Poor. He did not convert on any of the numerous opportunities he had gifted by the opposition or clean passes delivered to him.

Azmoun: 5 - Missed way too many chances today! Should have scored on that Gholi pass early in the game... Can't be missing chances like that when the WCQ return!

                Substitutes:

Ghoddos: 6 - Added a bit of spice to the game and took a shot to test their keeper from range, should be in contention to start vs. Mali.

Ghaedi: 6 - Possibly the player I'm most excited about due to his style of play, will be an asset for wanting to unlock parked buses of teams. Hope he sees more minutes vs. Mali.

                Karimi: 6 - Average.

Noorafkan: 4 - Not sure what I ever saw in him and the performances he had in the league, ACL, and AFC U-23. Looked scared to exploit space, thus always went for the pass back even when he did not need to do.

Rezaei: 5 - Did not really offer much.

                Nemati: 0 - *sighs*

Skočić: 7 - Fair player selection overall and the correct people were dropped from the list. Importance of friendlies is experimenting with players and formations/tactics, it looks like we did... We began with 4-3-1-2 in 1st half, then we switched over to a 4-3-2-1 it seemed near the final minutes. Point of these friendlies is for the coach/players to make all the mistakes here so when WCQ comes around we will be prepared.

Iran Football Federation: 5 - Arranged decent friendlies for the team, however the equipment/facilities of the team are of very poor quality. Our players deserve better than this... Also weren't we promised a new emblem/logo awhile back???

                * Disclaimer: Ratings may be a little controversial and a bit harsh or a little bias may be applied, if I underrated or overrated someone that you did not agree with please let me know so I can explain more in depth and potentially come to a resolution.

Shout out to Shoja Khalilzadeh, Gholizadeh and Ghoddos they were great! I'm also very excited about Ghaedi, such a magnificent talent! Azmoun and Taremi are by far our best strikers. Rezaei is a rather one dimensional player, i prefer Ansarifard who is much more versatile and adds more to the team.

Nourollahi was the best central midfielder and should battle ut out with Ebrahimi for the position next to Ezatolahi. That being said, Haj Safi is not as good as Nourollahi and Ali Karimi but it is good to have him as back up in case of injuries, as he is a veru experienced player and also versatile.

Milad Mohamadi was solid, i reckon Saeid Aghaei from Perspolis should be his back up. Moharrami was shaky, but a.decent back up for Rezaeian who is clearly the better player. Ramin plays with more guts, power and brings more energy to the game than Sadegh. He is also much better going forward.

Niazmand was also shaky, Beiranvand was missed. In my opinion, if we start with this formation we can't be stopped in Asia and will qualify for the world up wit ease. Ghaedi, Jahanbakhsh, Ansarifard, Nourollahi and co will be great subs ao:

                  4-3-3

                  Beiranvand

                  Rezaeian Pouraliganji Khalilzadeh Mohamadi

                  Ebrahimi Ezatolahi Ghoddos

                  Gholizadeh Azmoun Taremi

I cant imagine that Beiro will still be TM No 1 Goalkeeper if he doesnt play in Belgium.

Please Hajsafi leave TM as soon as possible

Gholizadeh was superb. He was immediately behind almost every goal opportunity. I rate him 9

I was pro-Ramin starting before the Uzbekistan match but now I'm fine with either. To be honest, I trust Skocic's decision. Moharrami is definitely the better prospect but Ramin is more refined and has the experience.
