As for what TM's tactics are - they're Croatian. That's about it. They believe in some shape, but mostly want players to bring out their best individual play. They're not going to put mats down in a training session and tell players they can't move out of it like Dutch or German coaches might do.

If someone wanted to make a case for the strategy of going into a game pushing for an early goal, look no further than this game.
If we hadn't scored an early goal, we can be sure how frustrating the opponents wld make it, with their usual time wasting, skirmishes & dirty plays... all leading to a more stressful, out of focus TM.
I think we should always try our best to score early which allows us to set the pace.
And having great counterattacking players like Taremi, JB, Azmoun, Amiri, Gholizadeh, .. , we can be sure we would score more given an inch or an extra second

Really shame on you. You seem to be one of the most selfish players in the history of TM (which is perfectly expected from PP players anyway).
If you think you were or you are better than Montazeri or Pouealighanji who went to Brazil, then you are seriously dreaming.
This is exactly why you weren't invited to TM before and you shouldn't have been invited to TM this time around either and CQ was 100% right.
You just ruined your chance of being a beloved player and probably ruined our chance of going to WC, because of your low IQ and EQ.
A smart coach would have pulled you off the team as you are now going against every other player and real fan in the team who adores CQ.
But our beloved coach has been put in that position because of our mafia and dallals such as Afazeli and he needs to invite whoever those dallads tell him to, which is why you were invited to TM by the way.
You don't deserve to be a TM player, as you have just proven and you are best placed where you are (PP).

Rough Translation:
He says in his Iranian passport there is a brazilian visa. He was supposed to be in WC list but CQ “sar e lajbazi ba sepahan o krancjar” didn’t invite him. He says he never has spoken against TM and he swears that if he wasn’t in TM now he would only wish for TM success Bc if TM is successful the Iranian flag goes/stays up. Currently he is thankful that he is invited to tm and can help and if the coach thinks that he is not useful he should not be invited and he will continue to pray for TM success

CQ rightfully in my opinion did not include shoja for many years. His attitude was shit and be couldnt control his temper on the field. Even YAHYA pointed this out as a valid reason CQ did not call him up and said that in recent years he matured so much and worked in it to the point where he is no longer a liability to get carded in critical, high pressure national team games. Karim bagheri has publicly seconded this.

Pathetic iranian tabloids will use any CQ connections to drive a wedge between players and disrupt tm, which by itself shows how much they are still jealous and fear that man who is now long gone. Don’t let them do it.

He was better than Montazeri, Cheshmi, khanzadeh and few others CD that CQ took to WCs, He is right and spot on in this matter.
However took him time to grow up as person, and that was the only reason which cost him a spot in WC.
He is probably fastest of all CD, even now despite his age. And against team like Japan with him in line up, result could have probably been different
