Unfortunately another sad news with Ali Ansarian being extremely ill with covid-19 and being hospitalised.
It is really sad to hear some of our veteran players becoming extremely ill from the virus and just opens your eyes that there are so many others suffering around the world.
My prayers and thoughts to him and his family and everyone else around the world suffering with health issues.

Ghoochannejad scored in our 3-1 loss vs Bosnia. I know what you mean though.
The thing is that the amount of goals they score is impacted more by the team's strategy than their own skill or talent. Carlos Queiroz played a very defensive system, to great effect, especially when considering our quality of players and resources vs all of our opponents.
However, it's not a high scoring system that he plays, so when your team MIGHT score 1 or 2 goals max in some games, nobody is going to be scoring a lot, no matter how good they are.

Bahraini media states that Bahrain FA has offered to host the remaining WCQs for Group C. (Unlikely to happen, but possible to be held in a neutral location):
The article also mentions that Cambodia has formally requested to postpone their Qualifiers in March due to Covid. Discussion of postponing the March matches until June:

Bahrain does not have the facilities and organization to do this. I think if they decide to to have a central location they will go with Qatar because Qataris did a good job with ACL so they have experience in addition to excellent facilities in preparation for WC and in the same light, they have the organizational capability.
