^ I’m assuming he’s gonna continue with 2 forwards up front again. Whether they’re Taremi + Sardar or Kaveh + Ghaedi I don’t know. He’s also a fan of Moharrami who to be fair, has been fantastic for Dinamo. As well as Shoja as central defense next to Pouraliganji. There are many options for Skocic. He’s done a decent job so far given his 2 victories over Uzbekistan and Bosnia.

Azmoun has praised him and Taremi has said he trusts him. Saeid even said he was a great coach for Malavan despite where they ended up in the table under Skocic.

There’s a level of content and optimism with the players on Team Melli. The only doubt from the players come against the IFF who due to sanctions are struggling in some ways. Azmoun has voiced his opinion in that interview with Shiva Amini.

Skocic himself comes across as a professional and one who knows how corrupt our football can be. In an ironic way, that is a plus. Because when Carlos was our coach he came from the PFF and he was involved in corruption with them lol. Not to mention the 8 years he managed Team Melli. The fact that Dragon knows about the late payments and is still there for his players regardless is a plus.

We need to see more from Skocic and Team Melli, but for now I’m personally content. Let’s hope with the hard work and effort our boys put into the next 4 crucial matches, we also have a tiny bit of luck on our side too.

According to Varzesh3 (https://www.varzesh3.com/news/173746...AF%DB%8C%D9%86) IFF speaker, Alavi, said in an interview that the March qualifying matches have now been postponed to June. The logistics will be determined later. There will be a video conference on Tuesday with all teams officials to discuss that topic. I didn't find anything on the IFF, AFC or FIFA sites to that effect.

^ Wow. Since the rest of these matches will be in June, I wonder if they’ll make the final round of WCQ’ers a tournament. Judging from how they put everything into 1 month for the remaining matches of 2020 ACL. If that happens not sure that’ll be a good thing.

We should set up a few more friendlies since there’ll be 3 months before these matches. We can at least use this time productively as preparation.

Good point! That’s what they did in the group stages of the UCL. There were 6 substitutes allowed. It’s at least somewhat help with preventing injuries. I still hope they won’t set up a tournament for the final round. I’d rather have the matches spread out within a year than for all to be compressed in 1-2 months. That’s not good news.

Before anything, we should get to the final round first.

بدون تعارف می*خواهیم برخی مسائل فوتبال ایران را با مردم سرزمین*مان، از هواداران و عاشقان فوتبالی و پیشکسوتان و رسانه*ها گرفته تا مدیران فوتبالی اعم از رؤسای هیئت*ها و مدیران باشگاه*ها در میان بگذاریم. با اینکه در هفته*های گذشته غم از دست دادن دوستان عزیزمان مهرداد میناوند و علی انصاریان قلب ما را شکست و دل ما، خانواده*های*شان و هواداران قدرشناس فوتبال را به درد آورد اما ما را در تصمیمان برای ورود به عرصه مدیریت فوتبال و کمک به آینده پرطرفدارترین ورزش ایران مصمم*تر از قبل کرده است.

علی کریمی و مهدی مهدوی*کیا مانند خیلی از پیشکسوتان فوتبالی که سال*ها با گوشت و پوست و استخوان*شان فوتبال را لمس کرده*اند، خیلی خوب می*دانیم که فوتبال از معدود دلخوشی*های مردم این مرز و بوم است؛ مردمانی که با افتخارآفرینی و موفقیت*های فوتبالی اشک شوق می*ریزند و در شکست*ها وناکامی*ها روزها افسرده و سرخورده می*شوند و ما اهالی فوتبال، سال*ها این غم*ها و شادی*ها را از نزدیک شاهد بوده*ایم و در کنار مردم خندیدیم و اشک ریخته*ایم. امثال مهدوی*کیا و کریمی*ها اعتبارشان را از لطف و محبت همین مردم به دست آورده*اند و *یقیناً به خاطر همین لطف مردم بود که بعد از تغییرات اساسی در اساسنامه فدراسیون و فرصتی که فراهم شد تا فوتبالی*ها هم وارد انتخابات فوتبال شوند، ما نیز مجاب شدیم تا وارد انتخابات ۱۰ اسفند شویم. از معادلات پشت پرده کاملاً آگاهیم اما داوطلب شدیم تا ثابت کنیم، انتقادهای چند سال گذشته فقط شعار نبوده و با کسی هم حب و بغض شخصی نداریم بلکه معتقدیم این فوتبال باید عاری از فساد و کاملاً پاک و شفاف باشد.

فوتبال برای ما و خیلی از پیشکسوتان، خط قرمز است پس نباید فوتبال قربانی زد و بندهای ناسالم شود، زد و بندهایی که در آن حق داوران، بانوان، پیشکسوتان، هواداران و استعدادهای ناب و ... نادیده گرفته و فقط عده*ای خاص و بعضاً چهره*های غیرفوتبالی از آن بهره*مند شوند.

پس ثبت*نام کردیم تا بلکه بتوانیم از انتقادهای*مان *دفاع کنیم و ثابت کنیم نقدهایم صرفاً حرف نیست و حالا که آمده*ایم شعارمان خیلی واضح و روشن فوتبال پاک و مبارزه علیه فساد فوتبالی است.

این شعار هیچ*تضادی با رایزنی و گفت*وگو با افراد سالم و دلسوز ندارد چرا که همچنان معتقدیم در این فوتبال ورشکسته با بدهی*های میلیون دلاری، هستند افرادی که خون و دل فوتبال را می*خورند تا بلکه بتوانند این کشتی به گل نشسته را نجات دهند.

برای ما مسیر و نقشه راه با تدوین یک برنامه استراتژیک و مدون مشخص است، برنامه*ای که به کمک افراد متخصص در حوزه*های اقتصادی، حقوقی، امور مربوط به داوری و مسایل بین*المللی و ... آماده شده تا هر مدیری که توان حرکت در چارچوب برنامه تدوین شده را داشته باشد، ما را همراهی کند. برنامه*هایی که تمامی فعالیت*هایش شفاف و روشن است، مسیری که فرد ناسالم نمی*تواند همراهش باشد و مدیر سالم قادر خواهد بود تا خط پایان ما را همراهی کند، بنابراین مقابل هیچ فرد یا هیئتی گارد بسته نداشته و نداریم مگر اینکه فردی علاقه*ای به همراهی در این برنامه شفاف نداشته باشد.

در این برنامه جایی برای ارائه گزارش دروغین وجود ندارد و نمی*توان با آمار نادرست باشگاه*های*مان را به سازمان داخلی و خارجی درآمدزا معرفی کنیم در حالی که این فوتبال چه در رده ملی و چه در رده باشگاهی کاملاً ورشکسته است.

در این برنامه استراتژیک توسعه فوتبال از پایه تا رده*های بالا در اولویت قرار دارد، به مسائل فوتبال بانوان ریشه*ای توجه شده و برای داوران مصونیت و استقلال بیشتری در نظر گرفته شده است.

پاک*سازی فوتبال صرفا یک شعار نیست بلکه برای ما یک هدف است، هدفی که با زد و بندهای همیشگی محقق نخواهد شد، چون معتقدیم سرانجام زد و بندهای نادرست ختم می*شود به قراداد ننگین با ویلموتس، شعار و عوام*فریبی به استفاده از VAR و سوءاستفاده از احساسات هواداران، هدیه دادن پست*های مختلف به دوستان، وضعیت مبهم و دردآور فوتبال بانوان، مشکلات فراوان ورزشگاه*ها، بدهی*های کلان و صدها معضل دیگر.

با کریمی و مهدوی*کیا یا بدون ما، امیدواریم در انتخابات ١٠ اسفند فضا همانی نباشد که سال*ها فوتبال ایران از آن لطمه خورده و در کنار ۸۵ میلیون جمعیت فقط عده ای خاص از آن بهره برده*اند و فوتبال هم قربانی شعارهای بی*پایه و اساس شده است.

Iran's Group team officials (Group C) had an online meeting today. IFF announced that Iran could host all the remaining matches. It actually makes sense since Iran is the host of three out of four of its remaining matches and three out of eight of all matches left. They could have them in Tabriz (Yadegar) and Mashhad (Imam Reza) stadiums where weather could be milder than Tehran in June. The central location will be set on March 15. Let's hope Iran gets it. ^ I was in Tabriz a few months before COVID-19 hit, its a modern city with great hotels, metro and beautiful parks. Mashhad also has metro and good hotels. If IFF shows some competence, gets it and then have a flawless execution, it will be great and the boys could stay in Iran for the whole thing. It also showcases two great cities of Iran.

Tabriz is the best city to host the qualifiers in June. No matter what, the games should be held in Iran and IFF should push for this, it's a bullshit argument to takr away our home matches. Coronavirus is everywhere, but we all know that AFC will do everything in its power to prevent Iran from qualifying for the world cup.
