BTW, I would actually like to point out something to our fellow PFDC members who say Merooj is a domestic Iranian brand. The guy who started Merooj is a physical therapist that was based out of Covina, CA. The "Headquarters" for the longest time was at:

275 W San Bernardino Rd, Covina, CA, 91723

They are listed as an "importer", and the listed business contact is currently running a Physical Therapy office in Long Beach, CA. Sooooo, the point I am trying to make is, most likely these kits are also not made in Iran, and only getting the logo ironed on probably in the Azadi locker room.

all previous times we actually had a "design" (not just adidas generic with badges taped on) it turned into a disaster.

New uhlsport kit (ok the away is decent), last uhlsport kit with the stupid flowers, givova before that.

Im convinced the companies basically get to provide the base shirt and some aghazadeh takes all major design responsibilities lol

All they have to do is to put a damn tricolor stripe like the diagonal peru or mexico away wc18.

Everybody hate the design. Personally I don't find it that bad after years of plain white or this childish cheetah. We have finally some green after years of wearing tunisia shirt.

Out of all these brands besides the big 3 and uhlsport, theres really no one who wants to sponsor TM?
Umbro, Jako, Joma, Diadora, Masita, Kappa, Asics, Mizuno, Lotto, Le coq sportif, Macron, Hummel and and and.... These are all legit brands that make good quality jerseys.

Theres even more but didnt list US brands like Under armour or Reebok for obvious reasons.

I have seen tons of s**tier design by all these brands, even much worse than this kit. These foreign brands wouldn't automatically equal to good design, specifically for us

Average looking kits, but I like that the green has been worked back in and all three colors are represented.

Biggest thing is that they're comfortable and deemed quality by the players.

Look at the cheap FFIRI sticker. Looks like Helen Keller cut it out or something. They teach cutting along lines with scissors in kindergarten.

Yes, the new badge that was floating around was also their rendering.

WE have more than enough super talented, creative, and HIGHLY qualified designers in Iran. Young people who probably struggle to even find employment in their field of work so many are forced to go abroad.

Using this huge pool of individuals we can create kits that would rank as the most stunning in the world. And with respect to quality there is really no need for an issue. Even since many sanction quality of domestic textiles is massively improving, and compared to whatever crap comes out of bangladesh, taiwan for the big brands we wont struggle to get the same base material.

Only question for fans would be distribution potential, which could be huge money maker for broke IFF if they play it right. And AFAM is past just concept stage, they are official sponsor for Mes, Chooka Talesh in Azadegan.

As many here have said the issue is with IFF itself. Complete amateurs when it comes to this stuff.
