Even a midfield as eclectic as Sarlak, Ezatolahi, Amiri, and Jahanbakhsh should be able to dictate tempo. If Ghoddos players even better.
We have trouble vs Iraq for multiple reasons and might not win but at the very least, not being able to dominate possession and create chances tomorrow will be disappointing either way.
No excuse for Ghaedi and HajiTorabi either. If they can stomp Al Quwa Al Juwiya in ACL they can stomp the same player for TM.Last edited by perspolis#1; 01-26-2022, 03:14 PM.

best case right now with ghaedi positive is that most players test negative ahead of the game and then they prob will be positive after the game. this is nuts playing under these conditions to decide which team gets to play in world cup. how many players will iraq and iran have in their next games?

We'll be fine, this is a great opportunity to FINALLY start playing tactics that we'd play at the World Cup.
Zahedi, Sayyadmanesh, Rezaei, or even Ghoddos up front would be great.Ma Bishomarim

So far the few non iranians seem more positive about it. Don't know why they used the name majid instead or merooj
