Russian League is a lot more defensive style, teams tend to sit back and especially against Zenit. In Belgium the play is so much more open and this frees up space for attackers , you put Sardar at Charleroi and he breaks the Belgium goal scoring record.
That isn’t me taking anything Away from Kaveh, I think he is a great back up for our boys and the resilience he has shown in Belgium over the last couple of years. He has pushed to play and it is no coincidence that Charleroi has done as well as they have done since he joined them and then the loan seasons.

The average number of goals per league is different for RPL (2.4/match in 19-20) than Jupiter league (2.8) . But the variation in average goals scored per team within a league is much larger. The team you are in makes more of a diffrence than the league you are in.
The Belgium league produces incredible talent year after year whereas the Russian league produces rare homegrown top talent. Kaveh is playing among the next generation of Belgian players who will be world famous. Sardar is playing in a league of likely to remain lesser players. To be among the top scorers in the Belgium is a bigger deal. Sardar is playing with the champions of the league, a relatively rich team that buys top internal and international talent.
Kaveh is with a poorer team that buys bargains.
Statistically, there are many variables that affect how many goals one scores. Only if we could have the same players in the same team for multiple years could one get a fair comparison.
Having said that, when multiple coaches (esp CQ) pick one player over the other, that tells me something. But really the differences are not night and day.

Kaveh in a big belgian side failed to show himself, obviously some of the reasons were not his fault, but when he was given chances he did not perform well. In general in belgium there is a feeling that charleroi is his max level and thats probably true.

Sardar has proven himself for rostov (a much more low budget operation than even charleroi) in the CL vs the worlds best, and repeated it with zenit.

He has scored crunch goals for TM and is on the way to becoming our best goal scorer ever. Kaveh for all his hard work really is not in that category and even if he played 10 more games still wouldnt be.

And if you are comparing talent, it really is night and day. Sardar simply has much more natural talent than kaveh rezaei. Thats not really a controversial statement.

Sardar has insane speed and physical attributes. His leap and straight sprint seriously can trouble any defender in world football. Kaveh for his great work rate and endurance simply does not have these two factors that are key for a CF at the top level of the modern game. Sardar's ability to hold the ball up and relieve pressure for his team, often times being the sole source of offensive invention (despite the fact zenit have signed a lot of players, the offensive burden is still on him with malcom almost always out injured, midfield not upgraded well, etc). His ability to carry the ball long distances and kickstart attacks all alone is very rare to see in a CF that is so accomplished in the box.

If you rewatch this very match vs bosnia I think kaveh held the ball up maybe 2 times successfully in the first half? Lost every aerial battle and in general was very out of the game bar one nice pass to gholi and one bad 1v1 miss. Thats indicative of how he can struggle vs very physical solid defenders.

Sardar and Taremi are our only truly higher class players right now. Kaveh is a stellar 3rd option to have, but is not on their level. Should any of them fail to carry out managers instructions its great they have a competent, hungry, experienced player like Kaveh ready to replace them at any moment.

I rate Ansarifard higher than Rezaei, he is a better allround footballer and has the ability to keep the ball up. Kaveh Rezaei would be my fourth option for the CF position imo, Queiroz had the same view.

Did you see how many time Ansarifard lost the ball against bosnia, trying to dribble his opponent?
Even the 2nd goal come from Ansarifard losing the ball, trying to dribble the defender. Fortunately the deflected ball came in ezza's feet

Are you serious? How did this actually become a discussion where we are beating up our best player bc our third choice striker pressed well?

Im not sure anybody is talking negatively about kaveh. I admire his mentality, strong pressing ability, and general play. Hes a great backup option. We have two great CFs in azmoun and taremi that many international teams in the world, even those much better than us would die to have in their teams.

Why cant we be happy about that?

as usual iranians beating up the best we have. Nothing new here, just toxic mentality that put us in shit we are in today.

Is that too long for you to understand or?

So you just wanna present your views and critiques without any rebuttal? This is a discussion community? Instead of saying if you watch this or that I am providing visual examples.

That azmoun misses chances? Like every other CF in the world? Thats your rebuttal?? To us saying he is just a much better player than Kaveh as evidenced by selection choices of our best ever coach?

I will not post Kaveh misses bc that is not a discussion. That is belittling our national team players for no good reason but personal agenda. Iranian jealousy is a mental disease.

Well, one of your paragraphs was about missing chances and you talked about Rezaei and Ansarifard but not Azmoun. I thought this would be relevant.

I'm bewildered at what you're trying to say or prove by posting sardar missing some chances?

Nobody is even close to sardar or taremi.

Kaveh was always competing with karim for third choice striker.

Kaveh has a good workrate and is a well rounded played but hes not even 1/2 the striker azmoun is.

Do you want to bring up the record of goals to minutes played for team meli for the three players?

Azmoun has the highest goals to games ratio of any of them.
