Exactly. It's a good idea that we stay calm. IMHO, this actually shows character on the part of Skocic to reduce multiple risks that could impact key players for the future. I recommend that people on this forum calm down and think.

I think he was just not invited. Possibly was not in good shape at last camp. there is no way he mentioned mohebbi but forgot about ghoddos.

Mohebi had an operation on his foot last month... So Ghoddos who played and started matches for Brentford would not be a candidate for getting called up?

yeah thats what I thought until I saw that he didnt mention ghoddos by name at conference, where he even listed mohebbi and karimi as those he wanted to call but couldnt/agreed not to.

Seems ghoddos is not in that category.

Still dont get why we are not calling up Shahab zahedi in this situation. Dude is top scorer in ukraine or therabouts, good age and physique profile. would think witout azmoun,taremi its ideal time for him to show himself in a camp. Plus he can play wing. Same goes for mehrdad, but it really seems now that Skocic has little interest in qsl players.

For the clear deficiencies this list has in offense it is basically first choice defense through central midfield. And it does give real chance to kaveh to finally get a start that he deserves after long stretch of good form.

Exactly. Why is Skocic acting like he has a leisurely year and he has a complete rebuild job on his hand. If we forget Wilmots, these guys inherited the best TM in history and now they calling up every average PGPL player to "test" as if CQ did not have a full-on system assessing all potential prospects.

Why are we inviting players from a mediocre league and ignoring out best players like Ghoddos and Ebrahimi.

Skocic seems to have no plan and is just feeling his way through the dark.

We need urgency and we need a team to acctually play together to get ready for the impossible mission of qualifying.
