at the bottom of the post where there is a list of people who have thanked and at the right end there is a 'remove your thank'
Should be able to see it no mater where you signed in from.

But his assertion that praying has stopped us from developing shows how out of date he is about Iran and Iranians and also possibly in his view it is ok if you pray in a church because that obviously did not stop the christian West from developing. As I said it is about positive energy and expression of human kindness and as Nokhdi said if it helps some people to cope with grief then why should they be deprived of it.

you seem troubled deeply. WTF are you talking about exactly? Some guy just suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury in portugal and everybody who watched the game or saw the incident online is "praying" for him and you are talking about our nation moving forward? What?

i dont think they should ban heading. i like how they ban it in youth leagues, but heading is such a big part of the game. whats next? full bodysuits for players?

A ban on heading would not have avoided this incident/injury. The goalie was punching the ball away and the defender also went in for a high kick to get the ball. A ban on heading would not have changed this whatsoever. You can argue that even with a heading ban, Nanu would have tried to chest it to control it, with the same outcome/reaction from the goalie/defender.

However my suggestion was banning punching by the keeper which as I said is often very close to players' heads and often the keepers miss the ball and punch the player's head.

Banning heading would be a huge plus for us tho. The game would more and more look like Futsal.. we would have a chance of advancing to the 2nd round in the WC and win each and every AC.

It really hurt my soul to watch the poor guy to be carried off with his arm hanging from the stretcher I got really worried for him and thought man this could be the end of his career. I’m very happy he is up and can walk he is very fortunate that it didn’t turn out as bad as it initially looked.

As for a solution, I think as someone who has played GK my whole life we were always taught to come off our line with as much strength and power as possible in order to intimidate the opposition. I think that kind of education needs to be tweaked in order to protect the safety of players who go up for a challenge with GKs and really start penalizing GKs who go into challenges recklessly as they do with field players. That is the solution IMO

I agree with you that safety of players should be addressed as indeed it is and that's why red cards and banning players ffom playing. So players' safety is important. Nanu's case is a case that what we could assume as a scenario which actually happened. He was punched by the keeper while the defender being on the other side also acted as holding him in place to be punched. Why risk a player's safety or life? Should that happen before FIFA does something? Punching the ball away is dangerous. Keepers can easily slap the ball away.

he sorta reminds me of my brother especially when you play volleyball with him.... always bitching @ you to play better and every point given he blames you for it.. !!
nobody likes to play with him ...but i tell you what he sure as shitt gets the best outa you...and sometimes even surprises yourself how much of better player you are when someone constantly nags to get the best out of you...!! me and him on sand volleyball are nearly an unbeatable team ... beating out guys half our age and supposedly semi pro quiet frequently .... well at least till about 3-4 years ago ...!! damn aging and knee and shoulder problems are catching up finally with us..!!

and i'd say fk all that over elaborate safety protocols for professional football and most other professional sports for that matter..!
its a job afterall and a very handsomely paid one @ that..!!
you could get hurt or killed doing any job and many more people die far more frequently on freak job accidents everyday than the professional players ..!!
so long the injury numbers and death dont explode outa proportion .... Dont fk with the game ..!! especially with soccer/football..!!
