Iran qualifying schedule has been changed (Iran vs Bahrain will be played 2nd)

Pedram I get what you mean , we were due to play originally Hong Kong and Cambodia this month as our next two qualifying games and now we are playing Bahrain instead as the second game. You are right in saying no explanation has been given for this - is this the same for other groups , have the schedule of the games been changed?

it was fully done for Bahrain since the AFC Head is a Bahraini.. they just needed a cover up so they did that to the other groups also so nobody feels suspicious.. later they will say it is not conspiracy look other groups schedules were also changed.
Its fully Persian Gulf States... I rather call them the so called countries living on our Beautiful Persian Gulf

Qatar WC moved to winter months as Qatar in June would be too hot for players/fans.

AFC WCQ moved to Bahrain in June because Iran.

Distance between Qatar and Bahrain 52 miles (84 km)

Considering when and where we are playing. Splitting Bahrain and Iraq by easier games is a blessing.
We can have 2 separate teams playing each game.

We just need to have a couple of good prep. games close to our actual games. Then have our first group rest the first game.

I suggest to have a camp in kish Island and play 6-7 games against good IPL teams to get ready. We need to learn to focus on playing instead of the drama they will create for us.

We can beat all these teams easily I promise. And history shows the more they put their feet on the Iranian lions tails, the better we get results. So come again biaches.

I know that we will have to play against all odds but something tells me that Iranian players will rise to the occasion and once again do the impossible thing and qualify for the WC.

Or do we have any other choices?? Not sure unless we don't even participate in any competitions or work together to change the Iranian government before anything because we all know who the reason for all this heartbreaking is.

On the paper and current form, particularly of our legionnaires we should be able to beat all these 4 nations, however given the history of off-field incidences (accommodation/noise/preparations) and some dubious refereeing we will definitely have concerns and issues.

One option to consider is to camp in the nearby Qatar and make trips for the games-only. I guess AFC will do it’s best to close that loop too!?

I'm sure they can camp in Qatar, they won't be a bitch like Bahrain. We can request to hold our camp in Qatar in May.

Qatar would have been a perfect neutral country to host our group's matches in. They are Arab, but not sucking the teat of SA/UAE. Plus, it would have allowed Qatar to pre-host prior to the WC. Bahrain has no stake in hosting these events, other than qualifying as host country with an extraordinary home advantage.

Second option would have been Uzbekistan.

But alas, we have the Arab Football Contingency controlling our fate.

If all fails we should stay in Qeshm or Kish from the day TM camps to the end of the games. Weather is similar, and these Islands are only 10 minutes fly away from Ostan-e-Bahrain.
