The letter is very well written and deserves our appreciation and support. It is factual, to-the-point with excellent observations on Bahrain's population density and handling of pandemic. It is written professionally and is void of grammatical errors or accusations that could easily be rejected as baseless. Bias and discrimination intent is very hard to prove if it is not openly expressed yet you can always prove the outcome with facts. The letter does a good job in that area too.

    Go TM!

      1. Go to https://www.fifa.com/contact
      2. Click on "Other enquiries" under category
      3. Fill out contact form as you see fit (for the message, please put it in your own words and be sure they know you are a fan/individual (not media or a representative of an organization)
      4. At the end of your message, you can state that you've also included a link to IFF's letter to AFC which further outlines/details the issues at hand
      5. In the URL section, copy/paste the following link to the IFF letter to AFC http://ffiri.ir/files/fa/news/1399/12/30/36917_152.pdf

The more they get of these the better.

      Thanks for your time,

Thank you diz jaan. I sent it.

Everyone, here is my text. Feel free to use it with your own variations. Thanks to diz we all could take action. No matter how small, it is more than just posting opinion.

      Go TM!

      Dear Madam or Sir:

As a dedicated football fan with two World Cup attendances with my whole immediate family (2014 and 2018) and no organizational or media affiliation, I express my dismay with how AFC has picked the small island nation of Bahrain as the central location for the remaining AFC Group C World Cup 2022 qualifying matches. I urge you to pay close attention to the March 19, 2021 letter of Football Federation of Islamic Republic of Iran to the AFC General secretary as provided below. Your intervention in this matter will make a difference in restoring fairness in AFC central location selection process.

      Sincerely,
      <your name>

Thank you so much for this post. I have submitted my complaint as well. Also after submitting FIFA'S office phone in Zurich, Switzerland is listed as: +41-(0)43-222 7777. I'm going to call them as well and raise this issue, and will report back if I'm able to communicate this concern over the phone as well.

I have a bad feeling about this letter now that a 3 of our TM call ups have suddenly got the virus. I feel like the AFC is just going to use this against our federation.

I actually think it can be used in our favor. The players were screened properly, identified early, and isolated from the rest of the team. It shows that TM/IFF protocols are highly sensitive in picking up cases and reducing transmission in our football players. COVID-19 happens, it's still around, and many teams in Europe are also dealing with outbreaks (including Charleroi). It's how the team/federation deals with it that is important.

Yes that's true, I hope they see it from that point of view!

Both AFC and FIFA are influenced by money! And right now its arab money . Its just so naive to think sending a letter to AFC would change anything.

Sending a letter to AFC is only a start. IFF has to go through this steps and channels before it can take it to a higher level (FIFA, CAS, etc.). It's like reporting something at work to your manager. If your manager doesn't do anything, then you go to HR. If HR doesn't do anything, then you sue the whole damn company. Yes, all of this will take time, effort, know-how, etc, but not doing anything is exactly what AFC/Saudi/Bahrain are counting on (ie business as usual).

I've listended to IFF talking about this and Honestly they have made a big mess of it. I don't even think we have a chance in CAS.

According to IFF When they took over. (i've posted the video before)
A.) They had 2 days left to gather documents and officially request for hosting. They made a mess of it
B.) AFC replied to them 24 hours after their official request giving them reasons (stupid excuses ) to why iran can't host it.
C.) They only had 24 hours to reply back. IFF didn't have enough time to reply back with an official justification. (I dono if they have replied back to them or no)
D.) This letter has been sent after the deadline. So in other words if IFF was more prepared we had good chance of taking the hosting of the games.

So In My opinion instead of giving our players excuse we should pull a CQ warrior mode and force them to win. Right now our players are already making excuses.

Btw this reminds me when esteghlal messed up and sent their list late. Or When Iran U20 messed up and used a wrong player
! Mis management is our only problem man

^Agree that mis-management and poor planning are endemic to IFF. Having said that, AFC's reasoning for why Iran was not given hosting rights are BS. Plus, IFF missing a deadline doesn't mean our players should be subjected to 90-100 degree matches in Bahrain in the middle of June (when FIFA wouldn't allow it for Qatar during the WC).

Yes 100% and there is no doubt that AFC has made some stupid funny excuses and thats why I'm saying IFF messed it up. This could've been sorted out easily without any hassle if IFF managed it well. But sadly we allowed them to make such excuses and cross us out.

I don't understand, all continents are playing their WC qualifications right now in the spring. Why not in Asia? Obviously AFC did this purposely to create one of the worst possible situation for TM WC qualifying fight. So the very hot and humid weather is defently used as a weapon against TM and somehow FIFA should be informed of this grave injustice.
