They've gotten away with it before. Remember the "neutral" venue for our 2018 qualifier game against Syria...in the swamps of MALAYSIA!?!

The amount of mud on their tops in that picture reminds me of what Arnie does to evade the Predator.

The pandemic. It's why South America have also had to postpone theirs and why we've had to call up a few nobodies to make up the numbers for the camp.

Yup! Exactly. The same bullshit happened in 2016. Carlos had emailed AFC months prior to this match, asking to have the venue moved because of the monsoon season. But AFC ignored. Just as they patronized Skocic on video call when they decided not to move the matches to Iran.

          Here’s the match btw: https://youtu.be/hGc_Eumuqg8

Afc closed the door to Iran after the letter.

I could've sworn there was pregame footage of them showing a couple of rats running on the edge of the field when the start of the game was delayed by 30 minutes because of a downpour... I was watching the game live and saw the camera zoom on the rats running for their lives.

You don’t have to swear, I believe you. Because I remember that exact scene as well lol. Not sure to laugh or be upset but it is what it is. It’s what we have to deal with. Saudis and Emiratis throw money at AFC and our government throws our people’s tax money at Palestine. Maybe if AFC didn’t make football political, maybe, just maybe the Asian continent would improve as a whole.

Something a wise Portuguese man once said, if Asia progresses as a whole in football it’ll benefit everyone. And ironically Asia was against that same man. But he sure as hell shocked AFC with how well he managed an Iran facing sanctions. Kooneshoon sookht. They tried and failed. On one side moving a match to Malaysia to take place in the mud. On another side handing free penalty shots to another team helping them to qualify to Russia 2018.

Lol it’s all there in front of you. It’s blatant and it’s obvious. Until AFC puts politics aside and focuses solely on football, Asia will always be the 4th-5th continent behind Europe, South America, Central America and Africa. It’s the unfortunate truth.

Doesn't matter how much money IFF throws at AFC, it would be a waste. AFC is owned by Arabs which means they will always favor Arab teams and screw us , Saudi and UAE are not in our group, Bahrain is. Also, you are supporting corruption in this manner, while we should always be fighting against corruption and supporting fair play, otherwise the situation in Asia will never change.

I'm pretty sure Japan, Australia and South Korea uphold the fifa fair play policy. My suggestion is that we leave AFC, just like Turkey and Israel did. We should move to Africa imo. Europe is jot possible, first of all they won't let us in and secondly Israel plays in Europe and Iran does not play Israel.

cribbing about Arabs to the corrupt AFC gets us nowhere.
our only and best bet is asking for a change of venue (citing reasons like 1-HEAT and 2-the fact that Bahrain has to be the AWAY team as they have already played the host) to a place like Uzbekistan.

If IFF uses some logic and intellect (which they clearly dont have) they may get this done.
Anything else will be brushed aside by the AFC morons

eventually we have to ackowledge the fact that Iran is a pariah country with NO FRIENDS (only a few USERS). And everyone will find a way to stick it to us and have complete confidence nobody would object to this maltreatment.
To quote the scumbag Zarif: "We CHOSE this ourselves"!
